The small line goes to the fuel filter and the larger one is the vent to the fuel tank. The primer should have a large and small outlet and then you can put the small to small and the large to the large outlet. The fuel line from the tank goes to the carb. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Craftsman 2 cycle blower stalls.

Hello,

Most Probably the problem lies in the adjustment of the carburettor. There are two needles in the carb one for lowend adjustment and one for high end adjustment. Your lowend adjustment seems fine. The highend needle needs to be adjusted. Following are some very detailed procedures for adjusting these types of carbs

If your machine has a carb other than a "Walbro" dont worry the procedures are same. I am sure if your engine has not completed its life span this will solve your problem.

The fuel line is replaceable by itself, you don't need a new tank. Just make sure you get the same size line or it will leak where it goes into the tank. Any local small engine repair shop should have the line. There are two lines that go into the tank, the pickup line has the filter on it. It not only filters the gas but keeps the end of the line down in the fuel.

SOURCE: I HAVE A RYOBI VAC/BLOWER MODEL RGBV3100 THE FUEL

The small diameter line out of fuel tank (has filter in-tank on end) connects directly to the side of the carburetor that has the fuel pump....that is the cover without the hole in it. Other larger diameter fuel line out of tank connects to the longer nipple on the external purge/primer bulb. The bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to the carb and then out of the carb to itself, where it then "pushes" any air/old fuel back into the fuel tank. The remaining larger diameter fuel line in this setup goes from the metering chamber (has cover with writing on it and a vent-hole) side of the carburetor to the smaller nipple on the purge/primer bulb. Again, on the primer bulb, the longer nipple has a line going directly from it to the tank. This is the return line. The shorter nipple on the bub has a line from it going to the metering chamber side of the carb. If the purge/primer bulb is on top of the carb...small line from carb body to small hole in tank with filter. Larger diameter line goes from the bulb on the fuel pump side of the carb to the larger hole in the fuel tank where sometimes the line is held in place with a nylon nipple connector that keeps the line from pulling out of the tank. Otherwise, the line should enter the tank for about 1/2" or so

Both lines from carb. are cracked..358.797550 craftsman blower/vac how hard is it to replace the 2 lines and I know one is for fuel, what is the other line for and where does it connect to from the carb. ...

Thin line is the fuel intake and is attached to the fuel filter. The other is the return, and should be placed on the tube below the primer bulb of the carburetor.

I have a craftsman h horse chipper/vac and i cant

Focus on the carburetor main jet.
On a float bowl carburetor, remove the bolt holding the bowl to the carb body. This is the main jet, clean the jet with spray carb cleaner, and also spray upwards into the center of the carb.
I have listed some basics to double check, not all may apply to your application. If you need more detail let me know. rwvanlue

Replaced carb I bought from Sears and still no gas to the plug.

Replace your fuel lines and fule filter (usually inside the tank). I have found a number of times that just heat and time will couse some problems with the inside of the fuel lines. Hope it helps!

Whenever I cant find the exact stuff I need, try a local motorcycle shop. The fuel lines and such are very similar, often times you will end up with a higher quality fuel line for a few pennies more. Hope it helps!

Model 358 craftsman blower, where is the fuel filter

Follow the fuel line from the tank to the carb. If it has one, its in that tubing line. There will prolly be a particle filter screen inside the tank to keep crud from getting to the carb. Other than that - there's really not much to the fuel system on these.
