Braun MP50 juicer problems

I suspect you have solved the problem by now, if not, this worked for me. First unscrew the white center screw. Then as you lift up on the metal basket you should see the black center screw lift slightly. while holding upward pressure on the basket, tap the black center screw down. the basket and cutting disk should pop free. hope this helps.

Tub spout. Moen

Hi handie Man,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: Just bought a new tube spout to repalce my old one. The new spout same as the old, very common spout.. the inside of the spout has a (white) PVC threaded pipe in it with a smaller tube inside that as a O-ring in it.. You tried to unscrew annoying pipe but it wont budge.. and you dont want to ruin it incase you end up returning it. You think its just a reciver for a 1/2 inch copper pipe (which will fit).

That is exactly what it is. You've purchased a universal spout which requires a 1/2" copper pipe coming out of the wall. If you're not up to changing to that, take the old one to a plumbing supply. If you're lucky they might have a direct replacement.

Delta 989-SSSD soap dispenser loose.

Hi tsquared_030,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: How do you tighten your soap dispenser to your granite countertop?
You can reach up behind the sink and turn the soap reservoir, and feel a ring with nubs extending from the ring. you can't seem to find the two parts that need to be screwed tight.

You will need a little help. First remove the top dispencer, it just pulls out. Time to go below. Carefully unscrew the soap bottle to get it out of the way. Have your helper hold the escuchen (the part on top) while you tighten that nubby ring underneath. I find it easy to do this with a basin wrench. If you can't lay your hands on one you'll have to make do with your hand but you won't be able to fully tighten and you may have to repeat in future. Have fun.

Thorn m gas boiler

Hi alex1000

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Water pumps should always be horizontal or up. Never down. That would allow a place for any dabrie to acumulate and shorten the life of the pump.

Hi eaglesblue,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: Just purchased a miele g1142sc dishwasher had a mate over who is a plumber and installed it. No water is coming into the dishwasher is there any safety seals on the water hose, put water into dishwasher pump is working fine.

Please take no offense but a plumber is not the same as an experieced appliance installer. Any way, your mate may have done just fine but the water line is clogged or he failed to flush the line before hooking it up and you may now have a clogged solanoid valve. Did you run the d/w a couple of times before he left? Did you confirm it working then and now it's not?
