Question about Vizio XVT473SV 47 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

Mainboard # 0171-2272-3237 Since the 37', 47', and 55' all share the same mainboard listed, can I use a mainboard from anyone to replace my defective one?

My mainboard from my XVT473SV is defective. I have problems finding a board from a 47" model but I see mainboards pulled from 37", 57" available. On the 37" model while the board is the same I see less ports and connectors than mine.

How to replace the graphics card in my samsung np sf510 laptop

Replacing the graphics processing unit is a tricky business which involves disassembling and reassembing the virtually the whole unit.

I would reccomend a professional do the upgrade unless you are familar with notebook assembly.

Firstly make sure that the graphics card can be upgraded in the first place as they some-times form part of the computer's mainboard. Consult google in this regard.

Disassemble the unit to expose the CPU, Mainboard and Graphic Card. Usually these componets share a cooling assembly. You will need to carefully remove this.

Now remove the screw/clip that secures the GPU to the mainboard, then remove the card from the mainboard. Now pop your new one in and reinstall the cooling assembly applying new thermal interface material to CPU, Mainboard and GPU.

Reassemble the unit.

Take care!

I have a 26' Toshiba LCD TV Model: 26WL65G. When I plug in and turn it on it seems to start normally, but when screen turns on blue screen appears as normal and it goes back to stand-by mode...

Note that if it is a backlight inverter board problem you will still have sound. SInce you have no sound I would suspect a power supply or main A/B board malfunction. Do you know how to use a multimeter?

My Mother boards asus M4A78LT-MLE but when computer start fast screen appear " this cpu is not supports please call asus costumer care" and pres F1 enter bottom to star contnue, processor fan...

Click here to view the list of supported processors for the ASUS M4A78LTM LE Mainboard.

The AMD AM3 Phenom 2 X4 965 3.4GHz is not supported as it is a 125Watt or 140Watt Processor.

The ASUS M4A78LTM LE Mainboard supports up and including a 95Watt Processor.

Therefore you either need to downgrade, purchase a Processor that is supported as shown in the list or purchase a Mainboard that supports your AMD AM3 Phenom 2 X4 965 3.4GHz Processor.

I myself would go for an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 Mainboard, its a good companion for that monster of a Processor you have got.

See if you are able to return the Mainboard and purchase the ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3

There is also the cheaper ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO

Tell me how it goes!

All the Best!

My laptop fujitsu amilo 7300 has lost it's picture due to a blown inverter. The new inverter also blew. Can anyone suggest a solution?

you may have to replace the mainboard or buy a new laptop, if the mainboard has already smoked up two inverters, i would not run another risk.

Samsung SCX-4725FN won't power on anymore

It is most likely the mainboard. Could be power supply but if tech said mainboard he is probably correct. You can go to the samsung website or ebay to get the board.
You can also google "samsung scx-4725fn parts and get a list of places that carry them.

Attention, noisy pictures on dynamic image does not mean to change the main board, most of the time , the panel need to be replaced, not the main board.
