The pressure switch or its pipe work may have an issue
moreover its prob the brushes in the main drive motor
need replaced

tip the machine over on the other side from the soap drawer
and take out an examine the motor brushes

then order a set and screw them in and fit the wires

think this is the issue

past the preasure switch or the heater element {as if it never reaches temp it will just dumbly count down}

so few things too check
and not an easy issue

perhaps check you have no warranty or insurance
then call a tech .. but buy the parts yourself!!!!

SOURCE: Het3 Washer - F06 Code

dragon, drop the bottom panel by removing the 3 screws on the bottom, pull down and off. On the right side attached to the bottom of the door switch (on the inside) is a teardrop release tab. Pull down on it and the door will open. The F06 code is a motor tachometer error. The control is unable to detect the motor speed. While you have the panel off, check the harness that goes from the motor to the motor control board. The motor control board is the one on the bottom. Reseat the harness's for a good connection. If you can use a meter, check the motor windings, pins 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and 1 to 3 should read approx 6 ohms. Next, take the top off the washer by removing the 3 screws in back and sliding the top off toward the back. The main control board is in back. Make sure all the harness's are seated good. The third harnes from the right is the motor control power, reseat it. On the left side of the board, last harness toward the back is the serial communication link. Reseat it. On the motor control board on the bottom the communication link is the one toward the bottom, the center one is the motor connector and the top one is the power supply. If this doesn't solve the problem and your motor ohms out. I would tend to believe that the motor control board is the problem. back.

SOURCE: Washer won't run....

It seems as an overload issue. The machine has an overload switch to protect the motor. Take the comforter out and operate the machine,it should work fine. Good luck!

SOURCE: washer starts then stops and displays f28

hello southerndav4,

you said, you when the unit is started in any cycle it will lock the door and then run water in for a couple of seconds. It then stops the water and unlocks and immediately locks again. There is no further action except the timer counting down until f-28 code. There is no tub rotation and the ccu was replaced.

I see you did a couple of tests and replaced the CCU!!
You did do what I would have suggested.

You may need to use hands on service this time!
rather than swapping out expensive parts blindly!

Let me know...
Please remember to leave a rating

This is the condition fo the F28 error code
The communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.

This is what you need to check and or repair

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check wire harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
Check connections of the CCU board within the housing.
Make sure all grounding switches are engaged.
3. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components.
4. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
5. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.
6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor.
7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.
8. Check that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the MCU connectors.

SOURCE: whirlpool commercial washer stopped running mid

If the timer and lid switches are funtional and the machine is filling and shutting off correctly that only leaves the motor. Have the motor tested or replace it. Even though the timer is running it is possible that it is still at fault. If you have access to another timer try switching them to make sure it isn't the timer. This does sound like a faulty motor and I would start with that assumption.

Mah9700 gets stuck at 8 min unless we run a very small load

It is possible that when the load is more the drive pulley slips and does not get to the set RPM. This can be due to many reasons and so it can be related to no drain of water and thus making the timer to count down. Check the drive by removing the bottom plate, roll it with your hands to check for friction.

Compressor UP6 25 125, runs all the time but is only under load for a short time, should it shut down between loads?

This unit will shut down if unloaded for a set period of time. Usually 5 to 10 minutes. This time could be longer if some one has changed it from the factory setting. There is a timer in the control box that starts counting down when the unit unloads. If it stays unloaded long enough for the timer to count down the unit will stop until the air pressure drops to the low set point on the pressure switch. It will then start up. If the unit loads before the counter counts down the timer starts from the beginning when it unloads again. This cycle continues until you manually shut it down or you stop using air long enough for the timer to reach Zero and shut down.

How to set oven timer on a GE electric stove

that is not a problem. I copied the instructions straight from the manual which you can also review by clicking here.
Using the clock and timer.
To Set the Clock The clock must be set to the correct time of day for the automatic oven timing functions to work properly. The time of day cannot be changed during a timed baking or self-cleaning cycle. Press the CLOCK pad. Press the HOUR and MIN + or – pads to set the time of day. Press the START pad. Make sure the clock is set to the correct time of day. To Set the Timer Press the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad. Press the HOUR and MIN + or – pads until the amount of time you want shows in the display. The maximum time you can enter in minutes is 59. Cooking times more than 59 minutes should be changed to hours and minutes. For example, enter 90 minutes as 1 hour, 30 minutes. If you make a mistake, press KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF and begin again. Press the START pad. After pressing the START pad, SET disappears; this tells you the time is counting down, although the display does not change until one minute has passed. Seconds will not be shown in the display until the last minute is counting down. When the timer reaches :00, the control will beep 3 times followed by one beep every 6 seconds until the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad is pressed. The 6-second tone can be canceled by following the steps in the Special features of your oven control section under Tones at the End of a Timed Cycle. The timer is a minute timer only. The timer does not control oven operations. The maximum setting on the timer is 9 hours and 59 minutes. To Reset the Timer If the display is still showing the time remaining, you may change it by pressing the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad, then press the HOUR and MIN + or – pads until the time you want appears in the display. If the remaining time is not in the display (clock, delay start or cooking time are in the display), recall the remaining time by pressing the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad and then pressing the HOUR and MIN + or – pads to enter the new time you want. To Cancel the Timer Press KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad twice.

If you need further assistance follow up with a comment and please let me know and i will be glad to assist you further. Thanks, Midwest-tek

I start the wash cycle timer reads 1:02 machine runs and timer counts down to 54 mins. then resets to 1:12 mins. which inturn adds approx. 18-20 mins to wash cycle why the reset??

I had a similar problem with ours and had a repair guy come out and look at it. He suggested running a couple of heavy bleach cycles through the machine. He said that sometimes if you use too much detergent (especially if you're not using the "High Efficiency" type of detergent) detergent builds up on a sensor in the machine and causes longer than necessary wash cycles. We actually ran 2 cycles of bleach and then a couple more with no bleach or detergent and the problem cleared up.

Bosch 1200 classixx not working properly. On 12 min spin cycle it starts then after 1 min timer reads 0:01 and it stops. washing cycles run but doesn't seem to be any spin action

Make sure there is no water in drum.
Remove and clean pump filter, this is usually located at the bottom front right of washer, behind drop down cover.
Unscrew anti- clockwise to remove and clean.
Good luck.

Washer keeps spinning water and not moving on to the next cycle

Sounds like the timer has gone bad and is not letting anything work. Washers, dryers and dishwashers have a timer that you set at the start and then the system counts down off of that. If that stops working it will run forever
