Dis you reset the error? Go into service mode go to Copier> Function> Clear> Err. Turn of copier and the error has been reset. The sub code of -0010 indicates the copier has been turned off and back without resetting the error.

Fuser error on lexmark c543, what is it and how do I fix it? Thanks

Fuser error indicates that the printer/MFP has detected a problem with the fuser unit. However, certain rare occurrences, such as a power fluctuation or a static discharge in the vicinity of the printer/MFP, can cause a false error messages to appear.
1) Make sure printer is plugged to wall
2) make sure printer has been in turned on in ambient temperature for 30 min. 3)Power off the printer/MFP, wait 30 seconds, and then power it on again. Did the error message return? 4)If possible, connect the printer/MFP's power cord directly into a grounded wall outlet. In rare instances, a surge protector, extension cord or uninterruptible power supply (UPS), can generate false error messages. Verify also if the printer works on a 110 or 220 volts source. Make sure that the power outlet matches its working voltage rating.
If you still get the error message, I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support.

Hie, i have a problem with two printers, the canon ir2000 and the canon ir2010 it first gave me the error E000 message i resseted it then it now gives me the "check printer cover" message, what...

Error E000

Fuser did not heat up. check Fuser lamp, check thermistor, check thermostat, if this parts ok try to reset the trouble code. to reset fuser errors, first shut power off and turn on again. Then, go to service mode. Select "User mode" by pressing additional function ( * ) key then Press "ID" key ( # ) on user mode screen. Select menu 7 using cursor key. Press "OK" key. Select 4 item with cursor key. Press "OK" key. Printer reset. YES=( * ) to clear fuser error code E000

Error "check printer cover"

I think your problem is fairly simple if you have technical background. just check door compartment carefully there is a plastic part which presses the sensor switch or cover the optical sensor may be broken.

If not, then take a digital meter and ground the common probe and positive probe touch to the related sensor.there are two type sensor 1) switch type 2)optical, that they use.

If the switch type is used, when door is open voltage is 0,door close voltage is 5 volt although this may be reversed.

In the optical sensor case, one side is diode that is on 1.5 volt and other side photo transistor.
connect probe to trs side to collector or emitter depending on what biasing they use, then open door and see if the emitter goes high or low, repeat in door close position also if it goes properly high and low, if not then some other part is faulty.

If you are not sure how to do this then call in a technician

My hp laserjet 4015 is displaying an error 50.3 after printing smarged copies

Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer inquiry.

The 50.3 is a fuser Temperature error. If your pages have toner and image but are smudging or smearing you know the fuser is not heating and needs to be replaced.

If your printer is still under warranty contact HP Customer Care for warranty replacement of fuser part numbers: RM1-1082 for 110 volt, RM1-1083 for 220 volt. (888) 999-4747.

If your printer is out of warranty, suggest you purchase a maintenance kit part # CB388A HP maintenance kit for LaserJet P4014 P4015 P4515, includes other needed high wear parts.

My printer is displaying the following message - 122.03 Service Fuser Error. Can you tell me what this means?

This means the fuser unit is defective and needs to be replaced.

Depending on your location you need one of the following parts
40X5437 Fuser assembly, 115 V
40X5438 Fuser assembly, 230 V
40X5439 Fuser assembly 100 V

Replacing the fuser is not very difficult but you will have to follow certain steps.
1. Remove the right cover assembly.

2. Remove the left cover.

3. Disconnect the two-wire fuser cable from the LVPS.

4. Position the fuser cable so that it can be pulled through from the front of the printer, and guide the cable through to the front.
Warning: Be careful not to damage the cable by pulling too hard or cutting the cable insulation.

5. Remove the screw and grounding washer (1) on the right side of the frame.
Note: Be careful not to lose the grounding washer.
6. Disconnect the thermistor cables (2).

7. Remove the exit deflector and bin full sensor flag

8. Remove the bin full sensor

9. Unhook the springs (3 and 4) from both sides of the fuser.

HP 8150DN I got 50.1 Error message so I replace low voltage power supply and know I get 51.1 error message now

Yes, 50.1 refers to the fuser, and that is very easily replaceable. (no tools) However, in the 8100, you have a 75% chance that it is indeed the low volt power supply. The low volt power supply powers the fuser.

As a service approach, I always replace the fuser first because it is so easy to do and we always have them in stock.

If that does NOT clear the error, then we KNOW it is the low volt power supply. That is a very straightforward repair.

I have a Lexmark X422 It has a error message when I try to print anything. It says 922 service fuser error

This means Fuser failed to reach
standby temperature.
The only answer is to replace the fuser, part number 56P0648 110 VOLTS, 56P0671 220 VOLTS.
Please advise if you require instructions
