Log into your gmail account from a PC. Select contacts from the drop down lost in the top left. If your contacts are there, then they have been synced and you can retrieve them from there. As for the phone, batteries short internally and will no longer work after being submerged in water for too long (too long being over 10-15 seconds). To further diagnose your phone you will need a new battery.

SIM numbers can be recovered but contacts that are save in phone memory cannot be recovered!
remove covering of your mobile phone and place your mobile on direct sunlight (without battery) once its dry if on then ok if not same problem then try spirit (thinner) and clean the whole mobile circuit with thinner using toothbrush !
please rate and comment if this solution works!

How to recover data from water damaged iphone?

Best try is to put the phone, after drying it as much as you can and separating the battery, about 3/4 days in a container with one kg of rice together with battery, the rice will dry the water and maybe it will turn on again just to let you copy your needed infos. Look at the battery level after the procedure and recharge if needed.
Hope this help :)

I dropped it in the bath tub and ever since then my camera does this??

It may be too late but worth a try: remove the battery and put the phone into a bowl of UNCOOKED rice for about 48 hours. Make sure to wipe out all internal moisture that you can see as well (before putting it into the rice). The rice will absorb all the moisture that you can't get to. After the 48 hours and you reinstall the battery and turn it on, it may work properly, but may not. (When you get a cell phone or camera wet you should do this immediately and don't turn it on)

Got wet and won't turn on

Try this old trick... take out any external things such as battery etc, and put the whole lot under some uncooked rice...
The rice absorbs any water. Leave it there for a few days.
If the circuitry isnt fried, then it could come back to life, ive done it before with phones.

You can also try it with a very VERY low oven heat.. Like 60C,( 140F)

My samsung s5230 got tea spilt on it. won.t turn on.

Take the battery off. Leave the cover off. Put the phone in a bag of rice. Make sure it's completely surrounded by rice. Leave for at least a day. Two would be better. Clean the phone off, reinsert the battery, plug it in to power, and try it. If it still won't power on, getting it wet with the battery in has shorted out components and blown them. If it does work, all's well.

Good luck!

It got wet on the beach. water went into the camera and it won't start anymore.

The best way to try to recover items that have had water damage is to place them in a container with the gel packs you find in new shoes. If none of those are available to you try putting the camera in a ziplock bag with rice. This will absorb any moisture left in the camera. Take out the battery and memory card before trying either of the prior options.
After you have let the camera sit with the gel or rice overnight or for several hours, remove the camera from the bag and blow off any dust from the rice. Make sure that the inside of the camera is clean and dry (where the battery goes) Then put the battery and memory card back in. Make sure that the battery is fully charged and try turning it on.
If that doesn't work try going to a specialty camera store such as B&W. They can help you further and instruct you on how to procede.
It is advised not to get any digital electronic wet as most are not water proof and will be damaged by any exposure to water.

I dropped my ipod touch, in the shower. i put it in a bag of rice, just seconds later. i left it for like hours, i can turn it on, only when it`s plugged in. and, yet, it won`t like.. work. i can turn it...

I'm afraid it's unlikely that it will work again if you dropped it in the shower! However, the best way to try is to remove the back cover, remove the battery and put the phone in a warm dry pleace (airing cupboard or similar) for at least 24 hours, preferably longer. Then replace the battery and try again.

Wet Phone - White Screen

take the phone to a service centre who will attempt to do what we call an ionic bath. this is a bath of electricity and pure alcohol.
they should then use i fibre glass pencil to clean trhe contacts properly. you may also need a replacement screen depending upon how badly the water damage is.
