No, energy drinks contain taurine which is a natural amino acid. It is found in tissues in many living creatures, but can also be synthesized artificially. The artificial version is what is used in all food products.

Need to bleed my brakes... I have heard that you can put some baking soda in brake fluid and this will stop rotars from going bad.

Putting ANYTHING into brake fluid is a bad idea. Contaminating the fluid can only cause problems in the long run. And since the brake fluid itself never comes into direct contact with the brake rotors, it would seem unlikely that adding it to the brake fluid could in any way protect them from going bad.

My 95 chevy camaro 3.4 v6 leaking trani fluid smokes when it hits exhaust pipe

wow really it needs to be fixed not this bull , it is either the gasket leaking , ck to see if it is wet with fluid around the pan sometimes you can tighten the bolts , but just snug do not overtighten and break them or change the gasket , chevys are known for the little seal ring around the dip stick tube drying out and leaking , see if it is wet with fluid at the base of the dip stick tube where it goes into the trans , if so take the one bolt that holds it in out and just pull out the tube be carful just rock it back and forth a little bit and pull like hell it will come out put some grease on the new o ring and push it back in , good luck ,

The light is on for the brake fluid but I have no clue where is the reservoir and what kind of brake fluid I need to use its a 645 CI BMW 2005 if some one know I would really appreciate that thanx !!

DOT Brake fluid is fine. Just go to any parts store and ask for it. The brake fluid reservoir will be under the hood, drivers side against the fire wall. Small clear container with black cap

My wife took our 2007 camry (70,000 mi) in for oil change and was told the power steering needed flushing because it was darker in color. When should a flushing be done?

This is really just an as needed servicing really. You can visually check the coloration of the fluid for yourself to determine if it needs to be changed. Moisture will degrade your fluid and could potentially cause problems (as well as cause the discoloration) . You can use a syphen pump, and a container to catch the fluid in pump, then add new fluid, start motor and turn wheel to both sides to circulate fluid and repeat steps until darker fluid isn't present any longer.

I have a 1991 stock dodge W150 4wd truck with a 4 speed, I need to know what are the shift points? !st seems like a granny

I have an identical truck, 1991 Ram W150 with a 318 4speed bull low. They're called a bull low (bo low, granny four speed, farmers 4-spd) because theyre really only built for towing heavy loads, theyre a farm tractor transmission. You should never use first unless your towing a load, start in 2nd. I dont rev it too high when I shift mine. Best tranny for offroading by far, it really delivers the torque to crawl up tricky paths.

How do i flush the hydraulic steering system

You really can't flush out the steering system fluid other then siphoning the fluid out of the steering pump reservoir. This is the easy way.
The hard way:
Remove the filler cap from the top of your power steering system then disconnect the reservoir's hose. It should be located on the bottom of the reservoir. The hose can be tough to remove, so make sure you have plenty of patience.

Replace the reservoir's hose with another hose. It should lead to an empty container. You'll use this container to store the old power steering fluid as it leaves the reservoir. Lift the front end of your car off the ground by using a car jack.

Add new power steering fluid to the reservoir. As you add the new lubricant, it will force the old lubricant into the tube you've connected to the bottom of the reservoir.

Climb into the drivers seat and rack your steering wheel back and forth. The wheel should be locked in place, allowing only a slight range of mobility. This will help the extra lubricant within the power steering system to drain.

Watch the empty container. It should fill with old lubricant. Once the old lubricant has been flushed and you see clean fluid replacing it, you've finished the hard part.

Disconnect your hose and move the container. Replace the original reservoir hose. Pour new, clean power steering fluid into the reservoir. Rack your steering wheel a few more times to squeeze out air that might be trapped in the lines. Replace the filer cap and close your done.

Thank you for suing fixya and good luck

Range Rover 2006 brake fluid flushing (when?)

brake fluid should be changed every time you change the brake pad. Brake fluid is not the same as hydraulic fluid, which don't contain alcohol, which attract moisture and dirt.
with that say, I don't think too many people really change the brake fluid, not till the brake stop working.

Low brake fluid - need to know location of fluid container

you have to look carefully at the lids (tops) the one that has brake fluid should read DOT 4 or DOT 5 brake fluid only. i think that should help you find it.
