First of all try holding the home button down and press and hold the power button down while its plugged into the charger ( hard restet ) keep them both held down untill you see the apple logo...with a bit luck this will start the charging cycle again

try again but make sure you push both buttons down at the same time and hold them down ? this should hardboot it. it will take good timing. if that fails it will need a new battery installed

also try cleaning the port where the charger plugs into.. dust and dirt could stop the charger working too

How do I connect IPOD (Generation 5) to my AVR 135?

RCA cable should only be sending sound through the headphone jack to the amp not files. This would then be selectable through an AV or external source rather than USB or iPod option

Whats better! ipod touch 5 or the iphone 5 ????

The devices are very similar as you have stated, but you cannot make calls from the iPod. You will also need cellular service from the provider of your choice in order to make calls from the iPhone 5.
If your not interested in making calls or surfing the web through a cellular connection, the iPod would probably work just fine.
