More than likely the file in question is of a type that isn't recognized or supported by your tablet. Or you don't have the right program to open it.

What type of file is it?
(i.e. video, text document, audio, etc.)

How to down load films to a 32 GB card Hudle2.Thanks

OK, to accomplish this you need 2 hings:
1. A micro sd card. (Which I gather you already have one)
2. File manager installed in your tablet.

Now, if the tablet support micro sd card, you are all set. Download the file manager, it could be Astro, ES File Explorer, etc...
Once installed, open the file manager. The tablet storage, which is known as internal storage, it is display as sdcard/storage (or sometimes as internal storage). Once you tap the internal storage, everything that is installed in your tablet will be display; (Android, DCIM, etc...) Now you need to look where are the pictures or films saved at. It is usually DCIM/Camera. Once you have found the pictures that you want to move or copy, long tap the films, depending on the file manager app, you must tap copy or move (NOTE: Since every file manager is different, some takes a little bit of extra steps, others requires for you to open a menu). Once you had chose to copy or to move it, look for the external sd card location, which will also be located at sd card/storage/ (32gb external storage) and choose this location to paste your films or pictures.
Another way is by using a computer. Make sure that you have all the drivers needed for the computer to recognize your tablet, you also need the usb charge cable. Once the computer recognize it when the tablet is plug in to the computer, open it by double clicking, there should be 2 storage display under the tablet folder: Internal storage and 32gb. external storage. Open the internal storage, look for where the films are saved (just like I explained with the file manager), choose the films that are to be move or copy, and jus drag and drop or press ctrl and C to copy, go to the external storage, open it and press ctrl and V to paste.

Can i use my tablet to get my music from my computer from media player and how

Hi Sandra, first, you have to know the file types. If your tablet is running a version of windows, then you should have no problems. If, however, your tablet is running IOS or Android, then the music file type will determine if you can put them on the tablet from your computer. The media player on your computer, is generally windows media file (wmf) or wav. Those types are usually only compatible with other media players that only handle them. If they are in (MP3) format, then almost all media players can play them, as this is the preferred file type across almost all devices. When you connect your tablet to your computer, it should give you an auto play that asks you what you want to do with the connected device. You should select to (open files to view) this will give you access to the areas on the tablet where your media is stored.(music, videos, ie) Second, open your media player and select a particular song from your list. If you right click it, you should have a drop down to ask how you want to handle the file. Select the (open file location) and it will take you to the folder where the file is stored. It is here you should be able to see the file type, title, and size of the song. Simply drag and drop the file from the location on your computer, to the open file on your tablet. It will automatically copy the song and info from your computer. This will not delete the file or remove it from your computer. Some people have a fear of this sometimes. Don't worry. ^^ After you have drag and dropped the files you want to your tablet, safely remove it from your computer and your tablet may perform an (updating) sequence. After this is done, then check your music player on your tablet, and all of your music should be available for your enjoyment. ^^ I hope this helps. Good luck.

My grandpa bought a RCA for me to put all his songs on it. And they are all on the computer and i dont know how to transfer them

There are two ways:
  • From computer. Use micro USB cable, connect it to tablet. Computer will detect the tablet as storage device. Open explorer. Copy your files from computer to tablet in the folder where you want to store/save.

  • Use micro SD card. Insert microSD card to computer/laptop. Copy your files to microSD card. Remove microSD card. Insert it on your tablet. Access the files. To access files on microSD card, you can see on this video :

Video is courtessy of Youtube - RCA.

You also can use flashdisk as a files transfer storage.
If using flashdisk, transfer procedur is same as for microSD.
If using flashdisk, you need miniUSB to USB adapter. See photo:25848604-tr0bbbe1g5ua2mps4ks3loyz-2-3.jpg
I hope this help.

How do I open downloaded files?

I'm not sure what tablet and operating system you have but .exe files are typically Windows-based applications. Those won't run on a Android or Apple tablet, for example.

For viewing PDFs you need PDF viewing software. Again, depending on the tablet version you have you may need to install the appropriate version reader. PDF is an Adobe product and available from them for free. Adobe Reader Download Free PDF viewer for Windows Mac OS Android

Cannot open file

To me it sounds like you are downloading software made for a PC and try to install it on a tablet.
On a tablet you need to get the Android version of the software from Google Play Store.
