A better fix would be to glue a piece of plastic over the crack , all so there is a tape you can get from a hardware store that is water proof and will harden.

Ifall radiator fluid leaks out and there is no holes in hoses where can the fluid com from

The seams where the plastic end tanks attach to the aluminum core body. There is a gasket in a slot on these to make the seal. They can leak, and if cold enough will weep slightly.

There is also a small chance there are some hairline cracks in the plastic tanks which are not hgihly visible until they are leaking.

Just got cx500 custom 1981 leaking oil when i start up from small hole on side of cylinder what do i do

If the oil leak is coming out of the spark plug drain hole , the inner valve cover seal is leaking or not installed correctly. Take out the two bolts holding on the valve cover and remove the cover. If the valve cover gasket has silicone on it , pick off all the silicone and put the gasket and cover back on. That should fix the problem. Silicone on the type of gasket can make it leak. If the gasket is hard or cracked replace the soft rubber gasket and put it on by itself with no extra sealant.

Find the leak. If it's just the drain plug leaking, see if it has a rubber hose washer in it - could be a simple fix. But if the tank itself has a crack or hole in it, go to any home improvement or hardware store and get clear GE silicone (not latex or silicon/latex caulk). Thoroughly clean and dry the plastic around the leak. Apply the silicone. If you can force a little into the crack or hole itself, do so, then run a thick bead of silicone over the leaking area and spread it out gradually so it feathers out to about 1/2" on all sides of the leak. Clean your fingers or tools with paint thinner. Let it dry a full day before you test it out. Good luck!

could be one of 2 problems. 1) the rubber gasket seal has a small tear or hole... it doesn't take much. or 2) the door latch is loose or broken

I have a leaking jet in a pearl jet tub. it's an older model with just two jets installed in 1997 the jet leaks and i don't know how to jet the face plate off the jet, or have a diagram as to get the jet...

If there is a  threaded nut on the back of the jet, undo the nut as much as possible and push the jet out into the tub. Spread aquarium grade silicone around the jet and push back into the hole, put more silicone in front of the nut, you may have to spread it in the small area with your finger or if you can squirt it in from the tube of silicone. If there is no  threaded ring on the backside of the jet, go to the jet in the tub and looking down on the jet, turn it to the right. It should pop and pull out of the housing. There will be a retaining ring that may require a special tool to remove it, once the ring is out, clean it very well, spread silicon on the threads and the lip. Reinstall in the hole, reinstall jet wait 24 hours and fill and test for leaks. Take you time and you will not have to do it over again. Check where the leak is coming from, sometimes there is a hairline crack in the jet assembly, if this is the case, make sure the area is dry then use a 2 part epoxy for plastic (from lowes or home depot) and smear this all over and around the crack, let dry 24 hours, fill and test.

Washing Machine Emptying

Sure sounds like a hole or crack in the tub.  Unplug power, shut off water, and disconnect the hoses.  Tilt the washer onto its front and look underneath.  Use a light to inspect the tub bottom and sides for a hole or crack. If it is small enough you might be able to plug it with silicone sealant.

Mine also started leaking. Element also too hot. Mine has a 20 year warrenty on the tub (which I was NOT aware of) Repairman came today and the whole tub unit and element will be fixed for free! Look in your whirlpool instruction book to see if yours is warrentied. BTW, my dishwasher is only three years old.
