How do I get a disk to down load to my computer for my vista quest 8.0 video camera?

My computer lost the driver for the camera, and the only way I can get it back is to have the disk for this camera.

Sorry, but is seems no manual is online. Most links I tried, just wanted to show ads for different camera's and try to install malware. I don't think it will be possible to get one here, nor on the net.

I could find a "manual" for the 350 here:http://www.manualslib.com/manual/187379/... Perhaps this helps?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Lost Installation disk

Hi,

You can download the installation software from manufacturer's website by clicking this link
  • On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) and the language (English) from the drop-down menu and click on the "Go" button. Then download the required software.
  • The list of available software will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.
Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for using FixYa.

I have a JVC gz-mg130u HD camcorder that willnot work in Vista

The short answer is that unless JVC have released a firmware upgrade to this model, currently its not support for use on vista.

You can try here though, for some upgrade info,

Software for my nikon

Hello All!

here is a easier way to view/transfer your videos/pictures.....

if your running Windows Xp or Vista great.

select your menu button on the back of the camera , then Shooting menu, then Set up, scroll down to Interface, then USB, select mass storage. press menu to exit.

turn your camera on after you connect the USB cable to your computer and camera.

a new hardware wizard should be active, Xp & vista provides the drivers and a one time deal. your camera turns into a removable hard drive or like a jump drive.

you can drag & drop the video files easily into a folder .....
