SOURCE: Front loader will not spin

You will have to get it repaired that's the only solution.
there being a bad connection wire between the motor and the control board.est the fuse(s) on the control board. If they are bad, then the control board is in need of replacement.

Please don't forget to rate the solution

SOURCE: leaking front loader

If your washer has a rubber seal around the inside of the door and it has a little opening where the detergent comes into the washer put your hand inside the rubber piece and feel all the way around and see if you feel any holes or cracks in it and that is where it will leak from.

SOURCE: Front loader will not spin

The problem is the door latch assembly. You can get it at your local parts supplier or oder it through Should cost $50-$55. My hubby is replacing mine now. Not an easy part to replace, but by all information I have gathered from the manufacturer and the parts department, this is a common problem and most likely the cause of the machine not spinning. It runs through all the rest of the cycles, but will not spin, even on spin only cycle. The good news... if you replace the door latch assembly once, the replacement part is much stronger than the original and shouldn't have to be replaced again.

My Ariston front loader washer does not spin when it suppose to. I could hear the motor is running but the tub is not rotating. I also tried to rotate the tub by hand and there seems to be some friction...

Remove the rear cover and check the drive belt has not come off.
If the belt is off, there should be no resistance to turning drum, if there is, then there could be something trapped inside, or the main drum bearings could be failing.

The machine will not agitate, before it stopped it made a high pitch noise off and on and cannot turn the tub

Is this a top loader? Something jamming the under side of the agitator? Remove it to check. If the shaft that drives the agitator is frozen--may be bad bearings (and the source of the noise). If a front loader, the tub main bearing is probably frozen, again the probable source of the noise or maybe the drive belt was slipping.

Our Kenmore Advantage washer stopped midwash and my wife said she thought it sounded like a belt breaking but I've looked in the parts book and don't see any belts, anyway, agitator won't move. Thanks for...

have a look under the machine, should be a pulley on the elec motor and another on the centre shaft of the tub which goes through to the bottom pulley
Not sure if you have a top loader or a front loader
If that machine is a late model it may not be as I described but it won't hurt to have a look anyway

Drum banging all through cycle, and much worse spinning

Overfilling loads can cause small objects like pins, coins, and small socks to get between the tub abd Basket of your washer.

The basket is held onto the rear half of the outer tub simply by the bolt to the main pulley.
Remove the bolt, remove the pulley, and the basket shaft should slip right out of the bearings of
the rear tub.

Simply shining a light around between the basket and outer tub should confirm that there is something in there, since you have access to do this with
the front tub removed. Go ahead, remove the pulley and bolt, and if
the basket comes out, then check everything out.

If it doesn't, don't try pounding it out; stop there and go to plan B, which is a new basket
and tub assembly.

Very load noise when tub stops spining

My washer did the same thing. I put some belt dressing on the belt (the belt is on the very bottom, no disassembly rquired). The belt dressing I picked up at the local auto parts, and this seemed to help.
