I have an ST2046 snapper riding mower. I changed oil and oil light still will not go off.

Sometimes mowers, like cars, are pre-programmed to display service interval lights after X number of hours. You may have changed the oil just before such an occurence. I'd give it a few more running hours and it should turn off. Check the manual regarding the oil change interval and the warning light.

How to change the oil on the pump

It does help if the Brand was posted. Would have found it if it wasn't for Google search.

Briggs and Stratton 020397-0 (Snapper 020397)

You don't normally change the oil in the pressure pump except when serving the pump. As for the engine it is same as any other Briggs horizontal engine. Some of the newer engine are now requiring oil to be pumped out to change it.

What of oil to change on the 2700 PSI Brigg & Stratton enigine? On a "Generac pressure washer" and also what type of oil and how to change the oil on the pressure washer pump.

id your engine model and consult the briggs site........
the oil in the pump is filled during assembly so it doesn't have a nice pair of fill and drain plugs

What kind of oil does a husky 3000psi pressure washer use?

I don't believe that Husky (Home Depot) makes any 3000psi pressure washer that operates with a 2 Cycle motor. So.... gas only in the gas tank. Husky pumps can be from several differant manufacturers... some use no oil, some are sealed and don't recommend any attempt at oil changes, and some use Non-detergent 30w oil and some use 20-50 Full Synthetic oil. You can look up your specific model specifcations with a google search for Husky pressure washer.

Changing pump oil on ryobi pressure washer model ry80030 guy oil leaking out of breather on pump do I also need to change seals and if so how do I do this

I've worked on several of these so-called throwaway washers. They all failed from lack of oil. I managed to 'save' one and drilled and tapped a hole to add/ check oil.

How to change oil in a pressure washer

From the manual CleanShot 2050 Briggs and Stratton

Change Pump Oil
1. Drain engine oil and fuel from pressure washer
2. Use an 8 mm allen wrench to remove black pump oil cap between high pressure outlet and garden hose inlet.
3. Tiltl pressure washer to drain oil into an approved container until it drips slowly from pump.
4.Tilt pressure washer in opposite direction and empty premeasured pump oil bottle into same opening (a small funnel may be helpful) [THIS IS WHAT THE MANUAL SAYS-NOT CLEARLY WRITTEN IN MY OPINION OR WRITTEN BY SOMEONE FOR WHOM ENGLISH IS A SECOND LANGUAGE]
5. Install black pump oil cap and tighten firmly.
6. Set pressure washer in upright position. Add fuel and engine oil.

From the engine manual use synthetic 5w-30, 10w-30 from -20 degrees F to temperature of 100 degrees F.
Change oil after 5 hours of operation initially. Before tipping to drain oil, remove fuel from fuel tank by running until tank is empty. Remove oil cap and dipstick and tip engine. Keep spark plug side up. Or remove drain plug from the bottom of pressure washer with a ratchet and square extension and drain oil from bottom. (fuel does not have to be removed)
