Question about Welding Tools
Usually, when you reach the duty cycle, you will get wire feed without any arc. You really don't define "shut off". Does that mean you turn the welder on an the fan runs, but whem you pull the trigger nothing happens? Or does that mean when you turn the machine on it does absolutely nothing, like it isn't even plugged into the wall? The more you tell us the easier it is to help....

If you use the welder for too long at high amps it will go into over heat mode and shut down
you may have to reset the overload control ( how to do is in the user manual)
mig welders need a cooling of period during use and it is stated in the duty cycle specifics for the machine
