Troubleshooting a remote control device to see whether it is working or functional is easy to carry out.
1. get hold of your mobile handset and switch the camera mode on.
2. with the batteries installed in your remote control device, point the small lens at the top to the camera and view through your mobile handset.
note: remember to press any button on your remote control device at the same time.

Result:
1. you ought to be able to see or sight a bright light at the top of your remote control device. this is an indication the remote control device is okay.
2. where no bright light is sighted, you need to replace the remote controller.

caution:
DO NOT point the remote control device to your eyes or stare at the lens on top. Infra red is invisible and can cause damage to your eyes please

How do I connect my blu-Ray to my wi-fi?

The player does not come standard with a wi-fi adapter. It has Ethernet connectivity and can be attached to the network via a cable. You can purchase a wi-fi adapter for this model from Toshiba - the part number is WLM-12NB1. Here is the link to the website:

I have vcr tape wont play in hifi all the time. and dose same thing in every vcr but has no other audio track

The hi-fi sound goes first. There is nothing you can do about it. Unless some special recording techniques were used, you always have a linear sound track too. Try to adjust TRACKING on the remote to hook up to the hi-fi track.

2004 Honda CBR 1100 XX Super Blackbird FI light comes on

Hi, Kenny2shoes it should be noted that the reasons your FI light stays on constantly or flashes and your bike will or will not start and may turn over or not, these conditions will vary from bike to bike depending on the year, make, and model and you should always refer to your owners/service manual for proper diagnostic procedures. It should also be noted that any type of prior work done to the bike or an abnormal event occurrence IE: adding accessories, electrical curiosity/adventures, laying the bike down/crashes, rain storms/bike washings just before FI light issues started can be significant hints/aids into tracking down the gremlin. The newer the bike the more sensitive the ECM becomes and will not let the bike start when aftermarket accessories have been installed without being reprogrammed. That being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty Fuel Pump, fuse or system relay switch.
2. Battery starting to fail due to old age/damage, perform a load test.
3. A discharged battery, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Faulty safety switches/sensors: run/off, ignition, clutch lever, neutral, side stand, tip over, fuel, and or their connections.
5. Broken wire or worn insulation exposing wire to a ground situation especially inside wire harness at tight bends around fairing brackets, under dash panels, under fuel tanks over cylinder heads etc. Many harnesses are open on the ends that will allow water to enter and accumulate at v-bends.
Dielectric grease and contact cleaner are your best friends for wire/cable/harness connectors, look for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.
6. Installation of aftermarket accessories ie. exhaust systems, mufflers, air cleaners, fuel tuners, electrical component etc.

Logitech pure-fi Anywhere 2 Remote Control not working. Tried a new battery & still not working? any suggestions?

I received my anywhere one week ago, the remote didn't work, reracking several times didn't help, I replaced the battery with minus to plus vv. and then put it in again properly, working flawlessly since. Logitech won't advise this method but it's worth trying.

My remote wont work. I replaced the batteries,

You can check whether a remote is operating by 'looking' at the diode output with the screen of a digital camera, still or video. When you press a button on the remote, you should see the diode light up on the camera screen.

If this isn't happening, the most common problem with remotes is the crystal inside detaching from the circuit board, particularly if it's been dropped. Someone who knows how to solder can fix this if so.
