Question about Fisher Washing Machines

How do I run diagnostic fault codes Fisher Paykel WA37T26GW2

I lost my cheat sheet that the manufacture hides under the control panel. I have done this before and know what to do IF I hadn't misplaced the cheat sheet.

Hi there
That fault is the pump blocked error (no change in water level).
i have a quick and easy way to solve this problem.

first turn the machine off then tilt the machine back and lean it on something(a chair or wall), look underneath, in the top right hand corner of the plastic outer boul you will see a small pump motor it has a fan on it spin this fan and if it is hard to turn that means there is somthing stuck in the drain pump keep turning the fan and try to free whatever is stuck in the pump, then try the machine on spin again all goin well the object in the pump should come out with the drain water(doing this will not harm the machine) if the object is still stuck you will need to get the water out of the machine (bailing or siphioning will work) and tilt the machine back again and take the wires off the pump and there should be a white tab on the boul holding the pump on pull this tab and twist the pump anticlockwise about a quarter turn(you will need a few towels or a boul or bucket to catch the water) and it should come off exposing the blockage.
Hope this solves your Problem.

SOURCE: fisher & paykel washing machine fault codes

I have a Fisher & Paykel GW609AU Smartdrive Excellence 6.5 Washing Machine that would start then stop then start then stop a few more times before eventually beeping.
I fixed it by bypassing(joined the white and yellow wire) the trip out switch which is located under the control module(one screw to remove). Now it Works.

My fisher and faykel washer model wa37t26gw2 does not fill, and will not drain. diagnostic says plugged drain hose, but it is clear from pump to diverter

Your question does not make sense. You say it does not fill but then you say it will agitate. How can it agitate if no water has filled? Does it beep and give an error code/ If so what is the error?

My fisher & paykel intuitive doesn't spin it drains but that's it it also was getting stuck on cycles before braking down and not spinning could it be moisture do I have to change the circuit board?

Your washer is trying to tell you something is wrong. When the cycle interrupts and the machine starts to beep, it is in "fault mode" and it is correctly trying to tell you what is wrong with it. On models that have no LCD display, (GWL10, GWL11, etc) the LED lamps that normally indicate the various stages of wash cycles become "fault code indicators". On models with a LCD display, such an IWL12 for example, the LCD display will show the fault with a description. On all Fisher Paykel washers, you will find a detailed "tech sheet" located underneath the touch module of the machine, on the left side, in a plastic bag next to the water inlet valves/mixing chamber area. This sheet contains detailed info on fault codes and diagnostics. We always ask that people first read over this sheet and become familiar with these codes and what they mean. In many instances this will get you pointed in the right direction. To gain access you must UNPLUG the washer, and remove the two phillips screws that secure the control panel frame to the washer top deck. It also helps to remove the lid for ease of removal of the control panel from the deck.(simply open the lid 3/4 of the way up and lift it right off the hinges) Be careful not to damage or tug on the wiring connector from the motor control to the touch module.
NEVER attempt to enter diagnostic mode without first re-attaching the control panel to the washer.

Fisher & Paykel DishwasherDW60CCX1 - bought new 22.5.12. Error code E9. How to fix this please, as not in the instructions book!!

The code like E9 or F9 in F&P dishwasher usually implies controller fault. No solution but to call authorised technician unless you know how to replace the controller. Need to have a diagnostic tool to check what is happening. You should still be under factory warranty.

My Fisher & Paykel washing machine continually stops and beeps on spin cycle GW703. Move clothes around and continue, goes for a while and stops again, seems it is sensing it is unbalanced.

There should be a tech sheet located underneath the control panel that has a fault code matrix. Compare the lights to what you see on the sheet, and read the details.

Fisher & Paykel GWL11 With fault code 56.

had this code come up on mine, couldn't figure out exactly what it was but when I did the diagnostics for the hot and cold valves and the drain valve the hot water water valve would humm but wouldn't do anything. For the time being I have been running mine on cold water only and it has been working fine. Hope this helps a little. Also, the service manual is located under the control panel it will you a lot.

Fisher paykel gwl10us wont fill

Both of you most likely are getting a "RPS Sensor Fault"
On a GWL10, when the motor rotor position sensor fails, it will act exactly like you describe. Many techs incorrectly replace the machine control or the water inlet valve(s). The RPS sensor is much cheaper. If you consult the tech sheet located under the control panel, you will see the fault code for RPS failure and I would bet the farm that the sequence of LEDs displayed when your washer faults out matches exactly with the RPS fault code.

The RPS sensor for GWL10 and GWL11 models is a part # 420296P and canbe purchased direct from Fisher Paykel Parts:

The procedure to replace it is a little involved but a handy person can do it. It would be best to consult the factory service manual and again, that can be purchased from Fisher Paykel Parts direct here:

There's a diagnostic sheet under the keypad panel if you can't find out what's going on any other way. The company has excellent customer service. Give them a call, or send an email.
