Question about Hard Computers & Internet
You may have damaged the external HD. You may have a warranty problem. My experience has been, even with a warranty, I would lose all information since they would just replace with a new External HD. I voided the warranty, took the External HD apart. The actual 2.5 hd inside their "cheep" houseing was still ok. I installed it in a replacement External housing after I had determined the Data was still there.
