Try, A1 Sewing Machine Specialists, website is at the end, copy and paste URL. Lots of choices. I have never had occasion to use them but I liked their site, it was easy to use and the price for each foot was listed with the foot not on another page. http://www.a1sewingmachine.com/euro+pro-feet-for-sewing-machines.htm

I have a Sears Kenmore sewing machine I want to get a 1/4 in presser foot for it, is there one and where would I get it/

You first need to determine which shank the presser foot uses on your machine. You can compare your shank (current presser foot) with these photos to see which one your machine uses.

http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/sewing-machine-presser-feet.aspx

NOTE: If you purchase a snap-on presser foot, you will also have to buy a "shank adapter" that will attach the presser foot to the needlebar. Here are some pictures of snap-on adapters:
Kenmore sewing machine snap on adapter Google Search
However, you will still need to make sure to buy the correct adapter for your machine. The GREAT thing about buying a snap-on adapter is you can add a lot of presser feet to your sewing machine accessories because you can purchase additional snap-on presser feet or even a complete set of snap-on feet that will all work with your adapter and your machine!!!
Kenmore Presser Feet eBay
You will just snap one foot off and snap another on!!! Great idea!!!

OR--you can take your current presser foot along with the make & model of your machine and check with the local sewing repair shops to see if they have what you need.

FYI, once you know what shank your machine has, you can probably also find other specialty feet for your machine, ie walking foot, free-motion foot, etc.

Can the lZ 1286 used walkin foot. Can it sew piping. What type of machine is it.

all machines can sew piping, but you need a special foot for the job
the foot looks like it is only 1/2 there and replaces the full foot
it allows the needle to sew right up against the piping
it replaces the standard foot
it is available from any sewing machine repair shop, or any shop that sells sewing machine accessories

How can I find accessories for an old machine?

Sewing shops are loaded with this stuff. You can order online too. You'll need the make & model number. Do a little research, I think Kenmores are simply repackaged Singers.

Sewing machine model not showing on website

The Janome 4400 is only sold at HobbyCraft. To find the accessories for the model, look at the manual or the feet/bobbin. HobbyCraft may have the correct accessories but they aren't listed in the online catalog. Janome sells feet in four categories. If you match the category based on the documentation or on the feet, you will be able to get the correct feet. (See http://www.janomesewingmachines.gur.co.uk/janome-accessories_category-319 for an idea of the different feet. The categories seem to be based on the width of the knuckle where the foot is attached.) Any sewing machine and accessory vendor will probably be able to tell you the correct bobbin and foot if you bring in one of each.

I hope this helps.

I would like a foot to do free embroidery and free quilting. Can you suggest which one to buy and whether one foot will do both jobs or whether there are 2 different feet.

Same foot is used and is called a darning foot as well as a free-motion foot.

You may have a darning foot with your accessories.

If you do not, or prefer another type - maybe a clear foot - you can find one for your brand of machine at many online suppliers or sewing machine dealer.

Fabric shops have some generic sewing machine accessories.

Clotilde, Sewing Supply Warehouse, Sewing Machines Plus are a few on-line sites that sell presser feet.

I want to buy more accessories for my Husqvarna Viking Iris

That number looks like a serial number for your machine rather than a model number. The Iris series pretty much didn't have model numbers (other than internal production numbers). Anything that fits an Iris should fit yours. Also some of the newer Viking foots may also fit. Visit a local husqvarna viking dealer and they should be able to assist you. Also the Husqvarna Viking website has information on Accessories for various machines and will provide you with information on your local dealer from the "Dealers" link. The website is http://www.husqvarnaviking.com Good luck.

Sewing machine foot

Hi Debbie,

Your Ergo was made by Janome - so you have lots of options for accessories.

The foot model you list is the foot control for the machine - is this what you are looking for?

Our first recommendation is to support your local stores whenever possible - and your local Janome dealer may have the foot control and lots of other accessories for your machine in stock.

If you can't find what you need locally, you can try Sewing Machines Plus in San Marcos, CA appears to. I did find another reference to it on yet another website, but it states they are out of stock and taking orders for future stock.

While we don't have the foot control for your machine, we do have a bunch of Janome presser feet & embroidery cards/design on our site that may work for you as well.

Best of luck in finding your foot control.
