Won't open app to let me watch movies so I tried changing dates to a year ago then asked to trust developer and then reset date and again asked it to trust the developer and tried again to open app. Up it just won't verify on this new iPad Air which is the opeiginal model a replacement. If you have a netflix account, you can use the netflix app. Or if you are an xfinity user, you can download the xfinity tv app, sign in with your details and youre good. Now if you want to watch movies added on your phone, you can download the VLC app. But if the movie format is not supported like the mkv format, you might need to convert them.

what movie app are you using? maybe you can try VLC to watch movies.

Press the home button twice and stop the app. by "swishing" it toward the top of the screen - this will close the app.

You can then re-open it and begin a new movie.
