Since you are prepping up for your new phone, you might have already done series of backups to make sure you got what you need on the new device. However, you backup your apps and other contents to iCloud, it seemed that there's no way to selectively restore iCloud backup contents to your new iPhone 7. You will need to restore the whole backup file because iCloud does not allow selective restore, only selective backup. This might cause trouble in the case and mess up your new phone.
It is very much possible to selectively restore iCloud backup contents. What you need is FoneDog iOS Data Recovery, a program that is specializing in iOS device backup and recovery. It has amazed many iOS owners with its easy to use interface and flexible tool options.

How to retrieve emails ?

Hi Anonymous

There's a little wiggle room there, depending on which version of the OS is on the iPad. You'll go into Settings, then down to Mail,Contacts, Calendars. There'll be (?) a list of Accounts, or, if this is initial set-up, just an option to Add Account. You'll then be prompted for account type, something like iCloud / Exchange / Google / Yahoo / AOL / Outlook / Other. You'll then provide particulars on your account name and password, possibly other things if it's work e-mail that you may need to get from IT. That should do it (well, that and a working internet connection).

Hope that helps!

How can I bypass iCloud activation on iPad 2?

Hi Tamara,

This is a security measure put in place by Apple Inc. to prevent the theft Apple Devices and is not easily circumvented.

At this current time there is no "Hack" to get you past this, you will have to contact your friend for their iCloud account password to get past this, or ask them to log onto Find My iPhone and delete the device from their account.

I hope this helps.

Varify icloud account

You may have to go to iTunes on your computer and reset your password there. Then enter your new password on the iPad after you have reset that password. Also, you can have a different iCloud password and account than your iTunes password and account, if you have set up your iPad that way.

Restore icloud

Ordering and installing iCould is not enough. You should have switched on the apps or folders you wanted to download in the cloud.
For that look at the link.
If you did not switch on your camera app, I'm afraid nothing is stored there.
Please if you ever used your computer, with iTunes, check if you can find any photo or any video there. DON'T connect the iPad, before you checked the computer and saved all video and pictures to a separate folder. Apple iCloud Learn how to set up iCloud on all your devices
