Does it agitate and does the door lock light come on? Theres a panel on the back you can take off via 4 screws. Here you can check the belt and watch to see if it spins or moves at all. If the door lock light comes on, and you here the door click. Than chances are your motor control board is bad. Seen this many times. Im actually replacing one tomorrow on the exact washer.I believe the part # is 22004045. Heres a diagram. If the door doesnt lock than you need either a lock assy or a new computer for it. The computer is in the top panel where the timer is. If you look at it you should see a burnt resistor. If no burnt resistor than its more likely th lock assy. Ill try and find the part # for the lock and computer, and a digram. Hope this helps. Dave www.washermd.com

just an FYI to anyone who might need to know. my neptune started kicking up an error of LR and stopping. i ended up sending an email to maytag and got a response back from one of their techs. the LR code means "Locked Rotor". when this happens the cause is one of two items. 1) the circuit board at the top of the unit has lost connection to the motor and its control board at the bottom (connector loose) or 2) the motor and or control board at the bottom have trashed and need to be replaced (P/N 12002039).
hope the info helps someone as i had a heck of a time finding it.

d5 is a door lock error code, more than likely a bad door latch it's an easy repair, here is a link to the Neptune repair manual this the Mah 3000 but they all come apart the same way the only real difference was in the control panel and the door latch in yours uses a solenoid to lock instead of a wax motor

If your machine is FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW the dc/UC errors are caused by a clutch malfunction. Your machine is shutting down with those errors so your Tub Displacement Sensor is working as designed.
Fix the Clutch malfunction and you can wash a single sock or a load of blue jeans and you will not take the dc or UC unbalance errors. See this post for the fix.
Post back if you have questions or need help.

If you want to DIY the issue Google "Sticky: Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW" you can get the Service Manual from that site to help you DIY the fix along with forum guidance.
I discuss the troubleshooting the Left Hand Lid Lock in that sticky.
I can't find my repair notes on this forum no Sticky and no Service Manual.......D*ick
