What is the cubic yard of a circle that is 10.82feet diameter x 16inches deep?

the formula for volume of a cylinder is Volume = pi × r2 × h
but if you arent math savvy, first you convert your units so they are the same. all you have to do is change 16 inches into 1.3 feet and divide your diameter (10.82 feet) by 2 to give you the radius (5.41 feet)
plug in those values here:

and you will get 119.5 cubic feet

then convert cubic feet to cubic yards here:

and the answer to your question is 4.425 cubic yards

A antenna casts a shadow that is 16 yards long. A water tower near the antenna casts a shadow that is 8 yards long. If the antenna is 30 yards tall, how tall is the water tower?

Hi Karla

First off it is 'An antennae'. If the second word starts with a vowel, you use 'an' rather than 'a'. An Orange, an Apple, an Emu etc.

To your homework.

The shadow for the antennae is 16/30 of its height. Therefore the same ratio, or length of shadow to height of object applies.

The water tower is 8/?

Divide 30 by 16, and multiply that figure by 8.

A lookout tower is 30 yards tall and its shadow is 16 yards long. A nearby lighthouse is 60 yards tall. How long is the lighthouse's shadow?

Assuming level ground (or the same slope for both shadows), the lighthouse's shadow is 32 yards long.

If this is homework, be sure to show your work.

What distance to zero 0.22 rifle ?

When I zeroed mine I did it at 25 yards ironsight, and 50 yards scoped. The effective range isn't that far on the standard .22 but in the end it comes down to personal preference.

Leupold VX II 3x9x50mm scope on a rem. 270. One year old. Worked fine last year. Sighted in last week at range. Windage was dead on. Wanted to move up 1 inch in hieght at 25 yards. Tried to adjust hieght...

16 clicks is about 4" at 100 yards not 25. did you try shooting it at 100 yards? remember the scope is mounted at least an inch and probably higher than that above the barrel. at close range you will always hit low with a scope because the bullet has to climb at least an inch or more before it will be right on at 25 yards. if it is dead on at 25 it should hit way high at 100. (or the scope/ mounts are bad).

Library items come onto screen "out of scale" or way too large...??

two solutions are available:

1. Change font size off the windows tool setting to a smaller #. Like from 16 to 10.

2. make sure you are designing in metric and divide units by 100. Then change scale to 1:100
