Question about ZTE Cell Phones
I have the same issue. Yesterday I was using the phone via Bluetooth, turning Bluetooth on and off, and all of a sudden the earpiece started working. I think the one guy is right when he talked about the system thinking the Bluetooth is on.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

This could be caused by a software error in which the phone still thinks the bluetooth is still connected and is still being used as a microphone you can try a couple things here: 1. go to your bluetooth device list on your phone and delete the device 2. try to connect and then disconnect the bluetooth device and see if that returns everything back to normal 3. when you are calling or get called select the blackberry menu which is basically the blackberry icon on the keypad and go and find the option activate headset or something close to that which should activate the speaker on phone which you use for your ear.
I hope this helps,

The problem is that the mouth piece of your phone is bad that is why the cannot hear your voice.
I advice you get the mouth piece of your phone replace because it is bad and that is why your callers cannot hear you.
All you need to do is to change the mouth piece of your phone and you will see that your callers will hear after you have replace the mouth piece of your phone.
Meanwhile, you can get hands free pending the time you will replace the mouth piece of your phone.

Do a master reset or reset factory settings and see if it works. It would delete your data, so take a back up before you perform that step.
If that does not work, then its a hardware failure, if you phone is under warranty get it serviced.

that is strange you should take the phone to a mobile service center to have them diagnosed the problem and try and fix it for you.

If the problem is intermittent, and is affecting multiple components we are talking about a damaged ribbon cable. This cable feeds information from the main board to the board in the flip top. if damaged, you may see these symptoms or more; flickering screen, scratching or no sound from earpiece, screen blacks out, and all the symptoms may fluctuate when the phone is opened or shut. The only reason your speaker phone still works is its placement on the device. Here is a link to a public site that ranked it the top google results.
pls rate this post as fixya and good luck!!!!!!
