Question about Maytag MEW6530DDW 30" Electric Single Wall Oven with EvenAir
When I set my oven to bake, I hear the relay switch click then I hear it click again. Neither bake or broil element will get hot. The oven has a new control panel and new temperature sensor. I have removed the Hi Limit Thermostat. I want to know how to tell if this is bad before I replace it.
Test with a multi meter on each end of the wire prong connector, place each end of ur meter prong on both 1 and 2 of the connectors, and test for continuity ohms or a close circuit. have ur meter on a low ohms setting as the level of ohms is low. if it shows an open circuit or no continuity, its defective. Infinity is the meter not showing anything like a number 1 and not moving?
