Question about Dryers
What make/model of fan is it? Are you using the correct wattage? You might have a short in the light kit. Remove it and check for any bare wires that might be touching something.

There is a receiver in the fan that when the light blew might have damaged that part of the receiver. I think you can buy them,but you will have to get into the base of the fan(ceiling cover).

It's most likely that when the bulb burned out the electrical heat got to the socket causing the emergency shut down of the lights if you take of the light casing there should be a small switch next to one of the bulbs all you have to do is flick the switch, put back the casing and walla your lights should work (hopefully lol =])
