If you are refering to the main cover! firstly the hoppers have to be removed. then the metal plate on the top(cup warmer) secured with 4 x t15 torx screws. once the plate is removed the main cover is secured with 4 oval headed screws 2 of them located under the plate just removed. the other 2 are located under the adjustment rings for the grinders. the main cover then can be removed. there are 2 electrical connection plugs that have to be disconnected .

looks like your machine is not heating up one of the boilers.
on every boiler you have 2 thermic fuses and probably one of those is broken.

My franke flair coffee machine will not power up

the two main reasons for this are the on off switch located on the back of the machine is switched off. the other is the flap to the grinders is not correctly fitted. other than this an exporative visit by an engineer may be required. there are two mains fuses situated by the cable inlet behind the rear panel.

Once started, the descaling procedure may not be stopped. • When acid-containing descalers are used, immediately remove any splashes or drops on sensitive surfaces, particularly from natural stone and wood surfaces. Also, take the appropriate safety precautions. • Turn off the Saphira by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. • Press the button "Descale" until an acoustic signal is heard. • Display: EMPTY DRIP TRAY (Fig.1) • Display: INSERT AGENT IN TANK • Display: PRESS DECALCIFYING Dissolve 2 DESCALING tablets completely in 2.5 cups of water in a vessel and pour the mixture into the empty water tank. Hi
I have just bought a Franke Flair coffee machine second hand. It looks like new and the seller said it was in good working order - however it does not have the grinder blocker and I think we need one. I wouldn't mind also getting the once over from an expert and then maybe some kind of ongoing contact should we have problems with it. What are your rates?
