Question about Refrigerators

1 Answer

How do I remedy the problem? It seems to be related to a fan trying to start up, but takes 10 or 12 tries before it keeps running.

You have a number of problems that may or may not be related - engine crank sensor, cooling fan speed signal lost (?) and high intake air temp value. It is possible each of these represent a problem with the related sensors, but it may be a wiring harness problem as the wiring for these all end up in the same loom heading for the engine computer (could be the ECM as well).
Is the truck running OK? If not, I would start with taking a close look at the wiring and connectors to these sensors, and if all seems OK, I would try replacing the sensors one by one starting with the crank sensor, which can keep the engine from running.

Acer guet hot end shut down en 10 minuts

Three reasons laptops get hot:

1) Dust - Dust inside the laptop, dust clogging the vents and fans, dust around the cpu and heatsink. Remedy - take laptop apart and use a can of compressed air to blow out the dust.

2) A Fan not working - Listen and see if your fan is working, Air should be pulled in through the vents. Remedy - take laptop apart and replace the fan.

3) The Thermal Paste around the CPU and Heatsink has either dried up or is too thin to keep the unit cool. Remedy - Take the laptop apart and put a fresh coat of Thermal Paste around the CPU and HeatSink.

You could purchase a Laptop Cooling Pad that the laptop sits on and it plugs into the usb ports to keep the laptop cool. Try Tiger Direct at:

http://www.tigerdirect.com

When the site comes up just type: Laptop Cooling Pad in the white search box at the top and click GO. Sort the returned results by Price Low to High.

Below is a link to one that I use when someone can't afford the expense or have the time to take the laptop apart. It costs $12.99

I've a Medion Akoya, it keeps running hot till it freezes

What happens if you just use the power cord without the battery being in the laptop?

Three things that will cause a laptop to overheat:

1) Dust - Dust inside the laptop, dust clogging the vents and fans, dust around the cpu and heatsink. Remedy - take the laptop apart and blow out the dust with a can of compressed air.

2) A Fan not working - Remedy- Replace the fan.

3) The Thermal Paste on the cpu and heatsink has either dried up or is too thin to keep the unit cool. Remedy - Apply a fresh coat of Thermal Paste to the CPU and Heat Sink.

You could try a Laptop Cooling Pad which has fans on it and the laptop sits on it to keep cool. It plugs into the laptops usb port. Try Tiger Direct at:

When the site comes up just type: Laptop Cooling Pad in the white search box at the top of the website then press GO. Sort the returned results by Price Low to High

Below is a link to one I use most times for people experiencing overheating issues but can't afford the expense of going inside the laptop. $12.99

Laptop crasc. no error report

Maybe it is overheating and it shuts down so that it does not damage the motherboard.

Three things that will cause a laptop to overheat.
1) Dust - Dust inside the computer, dust clogging the vents, dust around the fans, cpu and heat sink. Remedy - The best remedy is to take the laptop apart and blow the dust out with a can of compressed air. If you don't take it apart you could blow out the vents with a can of compressed air and it might work, but you will be blowing the dust inside.

2) A Fan not working. The laptop will have to be taken apart to replace the fan.

3) The Thermal Paste around the heat sink and cpu had dried up or is too thin to keep the unit cool. Take the laptop apart and apply a fresh coat of thermal paste around the cpu and heat sink.

One sure sign of overheating is that if you immediately try to power the laptop back up, it will not boot. But if you wait awhile and let it cool off then try to boot it up, you can boot successfully until it gets hot and shuts off.

You could also try a Cooling Pad that plugs into the usb port and the laptop sits on it. It has fans to keep the laptop cool. The pad can be purchased for under $20. Try Tiger Direct at:
http://www.tigerdirect.com

When the site comes up just type in the search box at the top: Laptop Cooling Pad. When the search results come back sort them by Price Low to High and you will see them starting at $5.99 or so.

I like the one below for $12.99

Fg2000tc tried a 1000 watt jack hammer but overload alarm came on what to do

Your gen. is a 2000 wt max 1000wt running out put. Means it will start your jackhammer but will not maintain the wattage to run it long. You are using the max it has to put out. So let me try to explain - 2000 watt max output works like this - We will use a fan as an example. A fan sitting still and not turning takes more amperage/watts to start. that is called lock rotor amps. So lets say the fan is a 1000w to run. 2000w start the fan turning then it takes 1000w to keep it turning. Your gen. can start the fan but not keep it running it is using all it has to put out, now if that fan only uses say 750 w running watts you have some head room to keep it running with out things getting hot. Hope this is clear as mud.

well you seem to have a program that restarts your computer, so run msconfig, and disable any program that might seem suspicious, most of the programs dont really affect anything if disabled, or can b reached by start menu. so you can try to disable any suspicious services or programs from msconfig and see if it works. hope it helps. goodluck.

Macbook fans high speed always

Hi, this can come form a lot of things, harware or software related. Software related: The easiest solution would be to backup your data and do a "clean install". hardware related: the easiest solution is to test your hard drive using the disk utility, and repair it if needed. If you have added extra memory, take it out to be sure that they are not the cause.

You may have gotten some bad gas.  This gas could have been contaminated with water from condensation in the gas stations tanks, or just from being old.  I would purchase some HEET brand water remover or SeaFoam fuel additive.  SeaFoam will seperate water and clean your injectors.  Both are very good products.  Also a cheeper remedy is that if you believe it is water, then I would try pouring some rubbing alcohol (like in the medicine cabinet) in the gas tank.  An ounce or two won't hurt and it will help seperate the water and allow you to drive your car.
Any questions, please ask!! And please rate!! Thanks!

Mine is version 1 of the MB, and I don't know about vista, but it skipped on simple audio tasks, till I figured the "Smart Fan Control" was causing it. Setting it to "Disabled" in the BIOS fixed this. This lets the CPU fan run full speed at all times. Try it, it seems to be temperature related, and should either make things better or worse...
You might also see if the BIOS updates available at http://www.foxconnchannel.com/support/downloads.aspx help you at all.
