E68 means one of the buttons is stuck. Try pressing the buttons lightly, or disengaging them with a small tip.

SOURCE: My Frigidaire Electric Dryer keeps giving an error code

If your dryer is the same or similar to mine (Model AEQ6000ES2) then error E68 is a stuck key on the keypad. This may be mechanically stuck or the membrane contacts. The simple solution is to replace the keypad.
I found this information by searching for "Frigidaire Model AEQ6000ES2"

SOURCE: dryer keeps stopping error code e68

E68 error refers to "Current leakage to ground on heater or fuse opened".Problem with the fuse.Try getting it replaced. This can be done by any local repairman.Need not be a technician from Frigidaire,as they charge a lot for servicing. Good luck with the machine. Please do post results and comments.

SOURCE: HE3 dryer stops drying with code E1

Hi, how are ya?

The E1 is a thermistor problem. It's a little black fuse that's next to the thermal fuse on the duct housing.

It's pretty easy to fix. You need to take the bottom pannel off and then the black blower housing.

Good luck :)

What does code E68 mean?

Hello Erik;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

The code E68 appears when one of the buttons on the keypad is stuck in the down position. This is a common error with several different Frigidaire dryer models and tends to occur when the dryer is five or more years old. You may be able to un-stick the offending key manually. If not, you will need to replace the entire keypad.

Frigidaire affinity LEQ6000ES2 error code e68...dryer will not start

Good Afternoon David,

I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity dryer, model# LEQ6000ES2, is showing you an error code of E68 and will not start. I also see that you have changed the thermal limiter. Looking at what the E68 error code means, a key or button stuck, there could be something else causing the code to come up. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance, determine what is causing the E68, and repair your dryer. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

The dryer gives E68 it starts running dor 30

the code 68 on the aeq7000es series is indicative of stuck buttons [your control buttons on the front]They sometimes stick in the closed position or go open [fail] and I have found the bad switch and replaced just the bad switch[ there should be a series of test to determine which switch button is bad] and if the switch buttons are testing good ,then it's control panel time. The control panels are about $150.00 on ebay ,sometimes you can find a "make offer" deal, but their few and far between.
