Question about Heating & Cooling

My landlord has an older Duomatic /electromatic / climate control Furnace. He is looking for a schematic to see if it can be repaired. Any help would be appreciated'

This is an older furnace and does not respond to the thermostat. The fan does not shut off. He needs a schematic for his furnace guy to repair. There is no model # anywhere on the furnace. And thank you if you have the info he needs. I live in Sooke B.C.

Olsen Duomatic Ultramax1980s a/c comes on, outside unit runs but the furnace blower runs slowly for three seconds every minute or two. hoping it was just the capacitor,Does it have a capacitor?

It doesn't sound like the capacitor. If it would be,it wouldn't start. You might try to cheat and change the speed by changing the speed by exchanging wires

Per landlord, need to light pilot

You would smell the gas, so you're probably ok. Lighting the pilot is not too tough, first you have to get the cover off the furnace. Inside you will see pipes and parts. Hopefully on the cover, inside or out, or somewhere inside the furnace will be instructions.
If not, find a knob that has 'pilot', 'off' and 'run' or something like that. It will probably be in 'run'.
Usually, you have to push the knob down and turn it to get it to the 'pilot' spot. When you do, have something to lite the pilot, which will be inside the furnace more, near the burner. The burner looks like a gas stove or oven burner. The pilot place will be at the end of a small tube.
With the button held down, wave something burning around the burner area. especially at what may be the pilot. The pilot doesn't put out much gas, so don't worry about things blowing up.
Once the pilot has lit, hold the button down for a while, at least a minute. Then you should be able to release the button and the pilot should stay on. If it doesn't, you need a serviceman to come. Let the landlord know the pilot would not stay lit.
If the pilot stays lit, move the knob to 'run' or such, and the furnace should lite, if the thermostat is set higher than room temp. If it has been off, and the room is cool, it should lite.
If the furnace doesn't come on, let the landlord know.
Most landlords have service people for this, it was my job for a long time. Lighting pilots was a common chore for me. If you can, have the landlord send one out to show you how to do it.
As you see, it's not all tough, but it's not all easy, either.

WHERE IS THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR LOCATED ON A 2006 EDDIE BAUER EXPEDITOIN? mY A/C AND HEAT WILL ONLY BLOW ON THE HIGH SETTING. IT HAS CLIMATE CONTROL AND DUAL CONTROL FOR THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER...

I found this wiring schematic at: http://www.f150online.com/forums/articles-how-tos/385953-replace-04-08-fan-blower-motor-resistor-emtc-hvac-3.html
It looks like it is located under the dash on the passenger side, and appears to be pretty close to the blower motor. The resistor or controller is different if you have a climate control system vs. a manual temperature control.
Here is a possible picture of the climate control module:

2000 jeep grand cherokee limited with climate controle and 6 cyl. the ac blows cold on the driver side and hot on the passenger side.

If you have duel climate control, it sounds like the blend doors inside the heater box have broke. It is a rather large repair to do. If you don't have duel climate control, look for a broken, leaking or aged vacuum line under the battery try. Hope this helps.

Best of luck

Intertherm Furnace - Blower cycles on and off (varies in length)

Its still hard to say from your info...does it seem that the furnace is running a normal cycle except for the fan???...could be a wiring problem , circuit board/relay problem , or fan control problem....really the make and model of the furnace and age would help ....could be several things....does it heat your house to the correct setting??
