Yes, the number on the seat post is a serial number for the scooter. Please call Merits in Florida at 1-800-963-7487 and ask them to send you a key. They may send you one for free or a nominal charge. If you need a key right away they will direct you to a local dealer who has one in stock. Hope this helps.

Can I fix a NB1500 treadmill belt that is bowing in the middle? I've tried adjusting the tighteners on the back and cannot eliminate the bowing in the middle.

No, you need a new belt as it is stretched because that is where it gets pounded all the time. $50 to $100 depending on the quality you choose.

Kawasaki motor bike with serial number 64-084221. Require model and year of manufacture.

Hi, Carol the numbers you gave me look like engine serial numbers which are very difficult to decode. 1980 and later bikes have a 17 digit VIN # usually stamped on the fork neck or labeled on the front down tubes consisting of letters and numbers. I need the VIN # in order to provide the information you requested. Please click on the word "COMMENT" below and provide this information in the box that will open and then click on the green comment box in the bottom right-hand corner after it posts I will receive an "ALERT" icon that will allow me to respond to your information. Good luck and have a wonderful day.

Where is the ground for the engine

The ground for the engine of your motor is to be found by following the earth connection from the battery it should be clamp to the car body, different manufactures earth their engines in all sort places, but one thing for sure is that if you look around the engine block and gear box their will be a heavy black cable coming of the inside car engine body work to either the engine or gear box, sometimes it's located on the starter motor,.i hope this of some help as I have not had any experience on this particular model, but I hope this basic information does help somewhat.

Good luck

Ac don't blow cold only Luke warm and heater don't blow hot only warm what could it be help please

If this is a Ford vehicle it likely is a stripped gear in the blend door motor, which looks like a 4x4" box 1" thick held to the heater plastic box with three or four screws. This part can be ordered online for about $30 and is not difficult to replace on most vehicles.
The wires have a connector that is fairly easy to pinch and pull to release. The little motor box can be unsnapped and opened to view to see if the gear is not engaging or is missing a tooth before ordering the replacement. There will be grease on the gear so have a rag handy to wipe it to be able to inspect for damage. The identical cog gears are extremely difficult to find so don't waste your time trying to replace the little cog that strips out in these.

My truck is stuck in 4wd low. Can't get back to 2wd nor 4wd high. Where do I start looking? Light doesn't come on on the panel.

3 places to ceck . 1st make sure your fuses are good. 2nd check pin switch on transfeer case. 3rd.check bellows under battery box make sure DIAPHRAM is not bad. I will lay odds, that the motor that chenges gears in trnsfer case is no good. I beleive GM's calls it a reactor motor. Good luck.

No heat and makes sounds

if it's a clicking sound, your blend door actuator is stripping it's gears. Follow the sound to find your actuator. You might have to take the dash apart some. Take the actuator off the heater box and check to see if the door will rotate by hand. If not, you may need to pull the heater box out to fix the blend door. If it works OK by hand, buy and install a new actuator. Cost is about $40 and actuator looks like this:

Gear link or box problem

Sounds like a piece of linkage came loose. If it were an internal tranny problem, doubtful that the stick would be loose. Examine all linkage for something very obvious.

Craftsman Garage Door Opener Won't Open

When mine did this, it was because the nylon gears that drive the chain had stripped. My wife had to live without the opener for a week or more, but I was able to find a new gear kit online and replace the damaged gears. It wasn't difficult.
The other option is to buy a new opener.
