Why doesn't it turn on after a power outage?

There is a high probability that the internal electronics were damaged as a result of the power outage. Quite often, when power fails, spikes and surges occur. These can damage unprotected devices. Even power-strip-type surge suppressors cannot always keep these from occurring. Newer electronic devices are engineered with minimum tolerances in order to assure a short lifespan. Manufacturers want you to be buying another unit in 2-3 years, so they design them to last only the minimum time, usually not much past the warranty period. To prevent this from happening in the future, invest in an UPS for your critical electronic devices. This will prevent surges and power spikes/outages from damaging the unit(s), and will maximize the incredibly short lifespan these devices have. The days of a TV set lasting 10-15 years are over, unless consumers revolt and demand better design quality. But even then, with technology moving forward as fast as it does, most of us won't want to have one of these for too long as we will be wanting the improved capabilities of the next generation devices.

8 days out of warranty

TV is in protect mode because of an internal error,

Try unplugging power cable for ten minutes.

If it does not clear the error , then you will need a technician.

Call factory to check if you can get an extended warranty.

Hello, We have had our receiver for over a year now, with no problems. Recently we have noticed that the receiver does not save the radio presets in memory if we have turned it off using the main...

Hi there,
if you are switching it off at the mains or unplugging it from the wall and leaving it without power for more than a short period of time (over 1 minute), yes it will loose any "saved" information.
Some more advanced processors do have a back up cell(like a cr2020) mounted on the board as they have multiple settings for speakers and complex I.P data set ups that can be kept alive and remebered in the memory for a good ammount of time until some form of power is restored.
Your receiver though, would not have such a thing and although it may store the presets briefly (up to about 30secs to maybe a minute) if there is a power interuption, there is nothing inside to help it store anyhting once it is unplugged.
So in short, if you don't want the hassle of programming stuff all the time, just leave it in standby.

Drum will rotate but dryer will not heat up everytime

I think you have a clog in your exhaust duct. Cleaning it will require that you pull the machine from the closet. I thnk you will find a lot of sand at the bottom of your duct.

Panasonic DMC-FX07 Digital Camera won't turn on.

Check your batteries, but otherwise it could be a power board. It could cost between $90 - $125 to replace the board

Overload

Firstly check all your speaker wiring. Any damage can cause a short which will overload the system. You might not notice it, due to the fact that when you have the system on loud, vibrations move the wires on the cabinets or elsewhere. So make certain there are no loose wires near the speakers terminals into each one. If all that is good go to the next check.
Check If the amp is getting VERY hot when the overload occurs, then it might have a faulty part(s) on it. This might have occurred if you have been using speakers that never did match the amps requirements in the first place.
