SOURCE: Dishwasher

its a lime buildup.go to an industrial cleaning supply wharehouse (maybe home depot-lowes),and get delime.you can go to a supermarket and buy c.l.r. (calcium lime remover) but if its real bad you need a stronger delime.simply put the delime in the unit and run it through a cycle.you may have to do this more then once to get rid of the scale.then once a month use a cup full of delime depending on the hardness of the water.

SOURCE: Mineral deposits on heating element of dishwasher

There is a chemical you can buy that is a dishwasher cleaner that should do it. Wal-Mart or an appliance store should have it. If it is bad, you may have to do it several times. Ultimately you may need a new element if it is real bad.

SOURCE: Microscreens on Maytag Dishwasher

The problem for the spots is hard water. There is a new product out at www.dishwasherfilter.com that solves this problem once and for all. It is a small filter that goes under the sink and filters out the hard minerals that cause these spots from the water before they enter the dishwasher. It is very affordable (like 70 bucks) and even has a money back guarantee. After just one load you will be amazed how your dishes look. You will have crystal clean dishes and will not clog the dishwasher in the future.

no it cant to clean a dishwasher good the best thing you can do is run lemeshine often found at a publix or wallmart in the dishwasher detergant isles . if you try to sepperate the arms ther is a very good chance you will break the water tight seal and it cannot be fixed without replacement.

2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring front n back wipers work but washing fluid doesn't

It is apparent you used city tap water in the windshield wiper fluid reservoir. You not supposed to as the minerals that seal the pipes will cause the passageways inside the nozzles to clog up. They are three techniques to restore function: 1) use a long pin or sewing needle that will easily fit into the holes on the nozzle and push in to remove the minerals... exercise the windscreen cleaning pump to flush out the minerals and it may work for you. 2) remove the nozzles... this usually means removing the wiper arms and the grill panel under the windscreen to access them. Disconnect and soak them overnight in white vinegar. This will dissolve the moneral deposits. Flush with water thoroughly to ensure water will flow through them before reinstalling. 3) since you already have the access panel off, and the nozzles are still clogged, buy replacement nozzles and replace them. Don't use city tap water any more or it you do, add plenty of windscreen washer cleaner... it is treated to help prevent mineral build-up. (Do check the T connector for the nozzles to assure a line hasn't popped off first.) Replacement T connector and new wiper hose is available at most large chain auto parts stores.

I cant get the water to come through and brew a cup of coffee. it beeps 3 times and shuts off? is there anything I can do its only a year old.

Use a coffee pot cleaning additive (used to descale irons too) and run it through the brewing cycle.. flush it well afterwards with the brew cycle 2X more and it should be fine. Mineral deposits from hard water have clogged the line. Otherwise, get a new coffee maker as the valve in completely closed with mineral deposits and there is no way to open it to remove them and reseal it. An under sink water filter to remove hardness will prevent this from happening again.

Can I adjust the water fill valve on my G.E. washer?

You have a blockage between water valve to machine , hoses, or the valve that the hoses are attached to on back of machine. if you have hard water that valves small filter could be clogged up with small mineral deposits. You can remove this valve after removing top of machine, and clean it or you can replace the valve. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Hot water not entering washing machine

If you have hard water the restriction may be were the hoses attach to the back of machine. This valve has a very fine screen which becomes clogged with small mineral deposits. You can remove and clean or replace, but it will probably happen again. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

The water pressure in the entire house is very poor. If more than one water tap is open the water trickles out. The house has a Culligan Water Softner system. Is there a filter or some other home...

First make sure all the filters on all faucets (kitchen, bathrooms and even the dish washer and washer) are clean and not clogged, sometimes on areas with hard water you will experience sand and minerals to accumulate and clogged all filters. If all filter are clean with no minerals, then your problem could be the culligan filter, ask your sales rep to perform an inspection for minerals on all ending lines.

Hope this clear up your water lines. It happened to me.

WATER IS NOT SPRAYING THROUGH THE JETS ?

Are you in a geographic area of the country which has heavier amounts of minerals in the water. Over time mineral deposits can clog water lines clogging the smaller diameter lines first. Evidence of this may appear as discoloration on sections of exposed plumbing pipes at connection joints.

Or, perhaps a flexible water feed line has become kinked and the kink is blocking water flow (less likely, but could happen if the hose was installed with a bend and with aging over time and heat it finally kinked).

If mineral deposits, the orifices will have to be cleaned out. You may attempt using a pipe cleaner similar to a welder's tip cleaner to do so. There are also some chemical solutions that may dissolve such deposits depending on the type of likely mineral (this may be difficult to effect). If a kinked hose, you may have to uninstall the dishwasher and replace the hose. These solution may not be easy and it begs the question as to whether or not your dishwasher is worth the repair. Good luck.

The coffee comes out very slow and it seems like there is some sort of clog.

This may be caused by hard water mineral deposits.Run a cup of regular vinegar through a normal brew cycle followed by a full pot of water to rinse the vinegar from the machine. This will remove most mineral deposits.

Sounds like you have a bad fill valve on the cold water side. If your hoses are not clogged, then remove the hose and check the cold water inlet going into the machine for clogs. There is a screen that can trap mineral deposits and/or rust. If you have well water or hard water, they can become clogged easily. Sometimes you can clean them out and they will work just fine. Most of the time, however, you will need to replace the fill valve. Make sure you unplug the machine and turn the water off. The valves are electronically controlled. I hope this helps.
