First of all I think you are actually rebooting into the wrong place being either the bootloader or recovery where you need to go, I think that must be fast boot but I'm not very familiar with that model. You need to boot into recovery and first wipe your cache partition let it boot up then shut it back down, reboot back into recovery and select wipe data. Now the important part is to figure out what combination of buttons works for your model and you had to do it just right or you will boot into one of the wrong partitions and end up where you are at.
