If the shower holder is stuck, it it probably stuck with lime or coffee oils. You could try backflushing with a little descaler if the gasket is still in place. That will dislodge some of the lime and then can be pried off with a flat screw driver. In case you damage/ break it - you can get one here. Gaggia classic portafilter

What do the 3 screws on the moen L3175 shower faucet do?

Two screws hold the cover plate. Behind the plate on some models you might find 3 screws. The two smaller screws on the left and right side of the valve shut off water to the valve and the larger screw on the right side of the valve is the pressure balance spool. The spool is all one piece.

How do you tighten or remove handle on a danze shower faucet

Not to familar with faucet itself, but on most shower faucet's, there is a screw that holds it on. Most of the time there is a plastic face plate on the front of the handles, you pop that off and the screw is beneath, as you loosen you have to hold the handle in place, otherwise as you loosen the screw it will turn the water on.

Other fauet handles will have a set screw , usually on the bottom side of the handle body,( the part of the handle closest to the shower wall, either a small flat head or allen wrech should be all you need. good luck.

Can't get the collar off in order to put in a newcartridge

There should be a set screw on the bottom of the handle or you have to pry off the center cap to reveal a screw. Then there should be two screws that hold the backer plate on. Remove those. Once handle and plate are off there should be a retaining clip that holds in the cartridge. Make sure your main water valve is turned OFF.
Hope this helps

Not sure if it is a Moen. It is about 30 years old. It has a single handle where you turn on and adjust the temperature, and a shower head and tub spot. Also has a round piece at the bottom of the tub...

Close the stopper at the bottom of the tub - this is so anything you might drop doesn't get into the drain. The drain should not be involved.

You will need to remove the tub/shower valve handle and decorative plate first. Behind the decorative plate there should be a shut off valve on each side of your valve. They will probably be slots to accept a big screwdriver. Turn both the hot and cold water valves off by turning them clockwise until they stop. Do not overtighten them.

Then take a pair of pliers and rotate or pull the tub/shower vale out toward you. You are now testing the shut off valves to make sure they hold before you go any further. If they don't hold and water keeps flowing from either side, you may need to turn off the water to the room or even the house. Hopefully, this won't be necessary.

The shower valve should be a cartridge that can be removed. You must remove a retaining clip that holds the cartridge in place. The clip can be removed with a small flat head screwdriver or needle nose pliers. Do this carefully.

Once the clip is removed, you should be able to remove it by pulling it straight out. This may take a little force. Use the pliers again. If it's stuck, they make a removal tool, but hopefully you won't need it.

Once the cartridge valve is out, take it to a home improvement store and they should be able to match it up. Given its age, the valve may have to be ordered.

When you re-install the cartridge, pay attention to it's orientation. The worst thing that will happen is that the hot and cold could be reversed, but that can be corrected by removing the cartridge, flipping it over and re-installing it. Put a little hand liquid hand soap on the new cartridge when you install it so it slides in more easily. You should have received a new clip with the new cartridge. Open the shut off valves slowly.

Test the valve for hot/cold orientation again and look fo any leaks before you re-install the decorative plate and valve handle.
