The Gemini tablet line performs factory resets and firmware updates with an SD card. Performing a factory reset requires writing files to an SD card with a computer, then starting up the tablet with the SD card present in it. Be aware that it will erase all data on the tablet, but with it in a boot loop, that may be a moot point.

Knowing the specific model number of your tablet is critical. Flashing the incorrect information can cause worse problems than you are encountering now. Rather than send you to the D7 GEM7007 page, I will give you the general page that leads to all the possible tablet results and directions. Look for the link that matches the Model Number, not just the name.

Factory Reset Original Firmware ROM Image Flashing Instructions

You will most likely need:
An SD card appropriate for the tablet (SD, MicroSD, Etc)
A reader for the card for your computer (Attached reader will handle SD and MicroSD)
The ability to get the Tablet to completely turn off to start the process.

The first two can be purchased. The last one is up to whether the tablet has a hardware fault. If the tablet has any kind of broken hardware inside it (wear and tear, aging, or damage) the process may not work. In the event of hardware failure, replacement under warranty or without warranty may be the best solution.

I need to know how to factory reset my tablet. Somehow the touch screen messed up and when I touch the screen it clicks a different spot then where I touched.

Maybe a reboot will fix the problem. Some, but not all, can be rebooted by holding the start button in for 10 seconds. Wait a further 30 seconds or so and restart as normal. Once fired up the problem may be resolved. Good luck.

Forgot my screen lock pin

If you have forgotten the screen lock PIN, you will have to perform a factory reset on the device, which deletes all data including the PIN. This process differs between tablets and is not trivial. My tablet keep on restarting. cannot go into the settings because it automatically restarts

You'll need to do a factory reset:
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.

This will reset you device to factory settings, however anything on your SD card will still remain.
At this point you will need to start fresh as if you just bought the device -- register with your email address, etc.
