ATX is the largest physical size mobo followed by the Micro. You wouldn't need to worry about anything smaller as they are more expensive anyway.
I would be inclined to replace the power supply also as that will be 'tired' and would probably struggle to power the new board. I never fit anything less than a 500 watt power supply. They're not that expensive anyway and it's always better to have power to spare than to be on the borderline.

Depends on what size could fit in to your CPU casing. ATX is largest among the board sizes and smallest would be the Mini-ITX. I would suggest that you find a board with the same form factor as your old one to avoid problems with fitting. New motherboard comes with custom back plate for the interfaces. Make sure your casing would allow installation of the said plate.

You can fit just about any motherboard in the case but would probably only consider an ATX or Micro ATX. ATX is the largest physical size mobo followed by the Micro. You wouldn't need to worry about anything smaller as they are more expensive anyway.

What are the dimensions of the motherboard in this computer?

Turn off the PC, deattach all the cables and devices and unscrew the left cover. Slide the cover to the back to open. Take a nice measuring tape and see the dimensions for yourself.

Hi I want buy a motherboard for home pc? could

You need to first determine what size you need. This is measured in what is called "form factor". Examples are ATX, micro ATX. These two are the most common. If you are looking for an upgrade though, the motherboard is not the best option. I would upgrade the ram first unless the motherboard is shot. It is cheaper that way.

The sound not connected

You want it hot?, turn on the heater.
Or the other kind of "hot"?, read a dirty magazine of your choice first.
Or maybe a third definition as in "hot-swap", you can't.

I take it what you really want is to just "upgrade" your motherboard.
That is a loaded question.
You need to look at what you got.
The determining factors will be what you, have and what you want to keep or replace.

Those factors broken down.
1) Kind and size of the case.
2) Power supply.
3) Video card.
4) Memory.
5) Drives, possibly but probably not as long as they are IDE types.

I got to go, it's getting "hot" in here.

I have an S50L motherboard which measures 8.75 x11.25 inches. What motherboard can I upgrade to?

This looks like a miniATX but the size has a less importance than the fixing holes. Take your existing mobo and put it on a piece of paper. poke the fixing holes in the paper and before buying the new one check that at least four of them match.
