Question about Cell Phones
You only can change a password, after you gave in the old password. So when you forgot one, you are in trouble.
When you can reset and put in new software, at least you can use the device, but you will loos all data stored on the device. When you have a modern Apple device you not even can do that, because the password is in the flash memory. And even a very long time without power, won't delete the content of the flash memory. Lucky you, when you have an Apple iTunes account and you can remember that password. Apple can help you there. For passwords on accounts, ask for help on the site. If you did setup the account, with more than only a few security questions, like a mail adres, they can send you a reset message to that adres.
Next time, please give more details about the device or account you want help for. Thanks.
