There are many reasons you can have no audio. Your unit may have DC Offset(meaning a damaged amplifier) If this is the case, you will not have sound in any channel.

If you'd like to inquire about having your AVR receiver fixed, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there.

Thank you.

How do i connect my JVC screen tv so that i can hear out of my speakers

If your JVC TV has AUDIO OUT outputs on the rear and a provision in the initial set up screen to disable the internal speakers, you can connect to your Yamaha receiver and enjoy improved sound.

Denon receiver not working surround output

If everything is connected correct, the only thing I can think of, is you don't put in a surround signal. If you only feed 2 way stereo, only two speaker will work. Also if you switch to stereo, the other channels will stop working. Check the cables, the settings and the input.

How do i wirelessly connect the reciever to the speaker system/tv?

You'll want to research an adapter for this. Radio shack probably has one of the most inexpensive units available today, but you can find others online, with better quality sound. Start with a google search for what you are trying to do. Google, "how to connect speakers to stereo, wireless".

Keep in mind, not all speakers are created the same. Some have amplifiers in them and some do not. This will change the type of adapter you will need.

Fairly new adapters on the market may transmit audio over a wireless network or even Bluetooth, you will need to research your receiver and/or tv to see if either of these are options for you. Another common thing is a range of branded theatre A/V sound systems with wireless sub woofer and/or back speakers.

Good luck with this, it should be a fun project.

I have no visual picture but I can hear from it, is that repairable?

Yes sir this fault is fixable. First check the sound set up in the menu to make sure that the speaker is not set off. Or try to use your dvd and play a movie if this set up produces sound try to check the cables connected at the back of your tv specially the digital receiver if you are using one the input and output connection in the receiver going to your tv. Good day and best regards.

I cant get any sound I did the trouble shooting

Changing the Audio Output
To switch audio output from the internal TV speakers to a connected external sound system or headphones:
Press 1. MORE.
Press 2. 9 (AUDIO).
Press 3. until the Speakers option is displayed. The Speakers option will display only if an A/V receiver connection has been detected.
Press 4. to switch between TV and either AV Receiver or Headphones.

Check if the MUTE key is on.
• The TV's "Listen to:" setting may be set to SAP (analog program from the ANT input) but no SAP is being broadcast.
• Check that the Speakers option is set to TV to hear sound from the TV speakers. Possibly sound is being sent to one of the audio outputs for an A/V receiver or headphones.
• If using an A/V receiver, check that the Speakers option is set to AV Receiver to hear sound from the A/V receiver speakers.
Press and hold the POWER button on the control panel for 10 seconds to perform System Reset.

Check the settings on receiver in the SETUP menu / HDMI / Audio. Here you can choose Amp (sound goes from the speakers connected to receiver), TV (receiver is muted and sound is routed via HDMI to TV) and Amp+TV (sound goes from speakers and also to TV).
Also check in OPTION menu / Signal Info that receiver is receiving sound in recognized format.
