Question about Soleus Heating & Cooling
All icons on the display light up at the same time. Additionally the power button on the main unit does not work, but can be controlled by the remote. The bigger issue is the fact that all the icons on the main unit display are continuously lit. Can use the remote, but would like for the main display to work properly. Thank you.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: No Display on controller
Try replacing the battery but if it wont work you need to replace the remote control itself, but for the main time you can operate the unit by pressing the emergency switch button to operate the unit manually.

SOURCE: air condition won't work
THE CLICKING SOUND IS A RELAY PULLING IN ITS LIKE A SWITCH CONNECTING TWO WIRES. THIS IS A GOOD SOUND BUT IS USALLY FOLLOWED BY SOMETHING COMING ON FAN ETC... CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR UNIT HAS AN LED LIGHT ON IT AND HOW MANY TIMES IF ANY DOES IT BLINK?

On some remotes there is a reset button which is pressed by using the nib of a pen. Or if this does not work you should look under the cover for a manual button, most units have one, and see if the aircon responds. I suspect your remote sensor is faulty, but try the previous suggestions first.

I recommend putting new batteries in the remote. If that alone solves your problem great. If not, get back and let me know

SOURCE: Remote control functions Ok (ie display appears and settings can be changed), but the air conditioner unit does not respond. Can operate using ther manual switch on the inside unit, but does not get p
Use your cellphone or any digital camera as your eyes by pointing the camera to the remote control transmitter. Light should emits on the remote control receiver. If no lights means defective remote control. But if lights emits means that either the receiver board or the main board is defective.
Try also the rst or reset button if present. Reset and try the remote.
