Question about Ovens
I turned it on to clean last night and when I came out this morning it was still going. I can't get the door open and the green light is still on.
Most newer ovens have a lock on them, and you probably haven't noticed it. look for a lock button. It will probably be electronic, not a mechanical button. Not sure what brand you have or how old it is.

Testimonial: "Thanks so much for get back to me. I got a hammer and a screwdriver, as recommended by someone on here, and it worked. The oven is in use again. Still don't know why the oven took all night to clean. I'll ring the Smeg people on Monday. Thanks again for getting back to me."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
