Question about Washing Machines
Bought is washer new in 2012. Did not get extended warranty. Contacted Whilrpool on 4/22/15. I was told I needed to buy the super duper warranty to get this fix and was quoted a price of $328. I politely declined and the lady on the other end offered to schedule a standard visit. But, it would be at a price significantly higher than what she quoted. I declined that as well. I only paid $470 for the washer. Back to the problem ...when the Normal cycle ends, clothes are still very wet. I have to then run on Drain & spin for an additional 13 mins. Then clothes are only damp and ready for the dryer. I do not hear any unusual clicking or other abnormal sounds nor do I notice any unusual activity/non-activity. Yes, I have checked the drain hose that is not plugged. Questions: What could be the issue? How do I properly check the "diagnostics" on this unit as Whirlpool's documentation does not show this? Do I access the "brains" of the unit from the back, or by separating the top cover from the sides? Thank you for your time and advice.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
