SOURCE: Converting QB Pro 2008 to QB Online

You can tell your data file size by having the program open and using Control+1 on the keyboard.

Depending on the complexity of the books, going to the On line version may not be your best choice as it has limited capabilities compared to the desktop versions.

SOURCE: Problem restoring Data

You should be able to locate your original files and make a backup copy to a neutral location. Once you do that, go to Control Panel and uninstall all versions of Quickbooks you see listed. Restart, reinstall 2002 or 2004, which ever you have the full install for, and then put a copy of your original files back in the designated folder that Quickbooks uses. You should be able to open 2002 now, and continue with 2004 upgrade. Let me know if you have trouble finding your origianl QB files and I can help you out with that too.

SOURCE: is quick books 2003 Vista compatabile?

QuickBooks Pro 2003 can run on Windows Vista. Right-click a shortcut to open Quickbooks (or qbw32.exe directly) and click on Properties. Select the Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility Mode, check the box and select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) from the list. Under privilege level, select "Run this program as an administrator." Select OK and everything will work.

I'm really not sure what to suggest as the disc is not reading in multiple computers and other discs work fine on the computer you are trying to install it on it sounds like it is bad media. You may want to contact the location you purchased it from and see if you can exchange to software.

On Mac book pro, I have installed Axure software, Not able to open it.

Hi Satish
Did you download the Mac Version? .EXE files are for Win PC and won't run on a Mac (Unless you have used BootCamp to install Windows)
The Mac version downloads as a .DMG file (AxureRP-Pro-Setup.dmg) which is a Disk Image and should mount on the Desktop like a Hard Drive.
Apple now turn this off by default so goto Finder Preferences and turn on "Hard Disks" then "Advanced" / Tick "Show all filename extensions"
When the Disk Image shows on the desktop just open it and drag the actual App to the Applications folder (or Desktop). You could then drag it to the Dock at the bottom of the screen to make a quick shortcut (alias)
Also be aware that Apple try to protect your Privacy etc from unauthorised Apps. So if it opens with a warning, you can fix this by going to your System Preferences / Security & Privacy / General and click "Allow Apps downloaded from" click Anywhere.

Hope this takes care of your problem?

Tried to install xp instead of vista, now bootmgr is missing.

First you will need the SATA driver already saved on a memory stick. Now go into the BIOS and change the boot order: put the cd first then the hard disk second, save the new setting and reboot. Put the XP install and reboot again, the install will start. When instructed to input extra drivers plug in the memory stick and point to it. After that don't forget to install all the other drivers from here.

How to install windows XP Pro without using cd drives

Find a computer with a CD-ROM drive.
Find a USB memory-stick that can hold 1 gigabyte.
Copy all the files from the CD-ROM onto the memory-stick.

Carry the memory-stick to the CD-lacking computer, and plug it in to a USB port, and install from there.

It is the notepad version that has no disk drive, so how can I install a cam?

If your computer does not have a CD drive then -
There are two methods.
1. Purchase or borrow an USB external CD/DVD drive connect it to the notepad's USB port and install the software from this drive.
2. Use a different computer and copy the contents of the CD to an USB memory stick and then plug it into the notepad's USB port and install the software from this USB memory stick.

Can i place a 4g and 2g stick in my macbook pro

Hello! The MacBook Pro you have mentioned can only support 4GB's total. 2GB's in the first slot, and 2GB's on the second slot.

What you may have seen by accident was that you can purchase either a 4GB kit, or a 2GB kit. Meaning a 4GB kit with 2 2GB sticks, or a 2GB kit with 2 1GB sticks.

Your best bet is to go with a 2GB stick in each slot to max out your MacBook Pro. 2GB's is the largest each slot can read.

For more information, check out the website below which has very detailed information on memory for various systems.
