I am not getting any moisture. The fan just runs but no water is being evaporated?

How old is it? it may be time for a descale. Do you have any CLR or a janitorial or restaurant or dairy quality delimer/descaler?

Is CLR safe on brushed nickel

Most descalers or delimers are tough on chrome/nickel. I believe the CLR formula does not attack chrome/nickel.

There is a valve? leaking in the back, where can i find a new one?

If the valve is the round shaped one with two hoses going into it .that is the vacum breaker. Most likely a 3/4" you can get these at plumbing supply try just unscrewing the guts clean with delimer and unscrew the guts from the new one and screw them in.unplumbing the old vacum breaker can be tricky.the plastic fitting some times break.I use a 1/2" wire brush for plumbing to clean the vacum breaker houing.with delimer remember take your time and always back up your plumbing fittins with another wrench as not to put any stress anywhere else.

Use a commercial deliming agent (like Lime Away or LSR). Remove the rack from the dishwasher and close the door. Press Off to power down the machine. Next press and hold Wash (Delime) while pressing ON. Delime should show in the display. The unit will fill with water and then flash Add and Delime. Open the door and add the deliming agent according to the directions. (The sump holds about 3 gallons of water.) Close the door and press Wash (Delime). The machine will start the wash mode for 5 minutes and then do two rinse and drain cycles. Delime symbol will flash while this takes place. When finished, the power to the control will be turned off. Check the interior of the machine for lime deposits. If needed, repeat the delime cycle. If the delime program is interrupted before it is completed, then start the delime process from the beginning.
