Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. I have a qsc 1300 and channel b wont switch on, its like the relay wont switch

it is not passing it's self test. check the usual suspects (shorted output transistors, blown mini fuse, and that annoying pcb mount fuse in the power supply (looks like a resistor with one stipe)) if they all check out, test the relay coil for continuity. if it is open then replace the relay, but if it reads below 200 ohms the relay is ok, and i'd bring it to the shop for more extensive testing and repair.

793MB flyback went off.

bad power supply, a blown out transistor, diode, but check horizontal output first..
take it out, then test again,,if its stops ,and power light comes on,, then change h-output transistor.

Samsung dlp hlr6167wx/xaa will not turn on

1) test the power supply for shot and open in the transformer+coil +filter+diode+rectifier+,fuse blown replace with the same capacity!+c.breaker tripped , reset.
2) test the HV horizontal output short or defective + Flyback short or defective Horizontal output +125Vdc+Vertical output +80Vdc+12Vdc colors+12vdc all other circuit for to CRT.
Remember the first thing do will have is RASTER.
God bless you. see the block.d

No power when television is turned on

1) test the outlet box and plug a desk lamp if work, if does the circuit is o.k if NOT reset the c.breaker from your home
2) test the power cord for open or break
3) see for a blown fuse inside and replace, or c.breaker tripped reset.
4) test for short in transformer+coil+filter+diode+rectifier and ground chassin.
5) test the Horizontal output for +125vdc +HVREC+FLYBACK+vertical output for 80vdc+all they go to the CRT. measure the color circuite +12vdc+other circuite+12vdc+audio 24vdc. see the block diagram oTHERWISE you must to the repair shop TV
God bless you

Noisy left hand power output stage. Noisy transistor? No circuit diagram.

If the speaker is not blown, there must be an output capacitor. If no output capacitor, and you have a blown transistor the speaker will blow from DC current. You can further check the transistors with a multimeter. A transistor looks like 2 diodes and you should be abobe to test with a mulimenter like a diode test.

Problem

There is no "Flyback transformer" in the LCD monitor "Benq 17" model No. Q7T3". Such a component, a "Flyback transformer" is found in televisions and in Picture Tube type monitors. The red wire of a "Flyback transformer" is where 27,000 VOLTS comes out of to connect to the picture and such a voltage IS DEADLY so never enter a TV or computer monitor unless you know exactly what you're doing. To bring your hand too close to the "Flyback transformer" is to GET ZAPPED, you don't even have to TOUCH that transformer or the Red Wire that comes out of it!!!!

As far as a fuse blowing, NEVER PUT IN A FUSE WITH A HIGHER AMPERAGE RATING: it's there to protect certain components from being permanently damaged. If the fuse is blowing you must find out "why". There's got to be a short circuit in one or more components. Transistors, Diodes and Capacitors are easy to check for shorts. Transistors, Diodes are usually what short out. There's not much more I can say here.

A schematic diagram that shows the voltage on the many components of a running LCD circuit is what you need to find out where volatges should be. If a voltage is missing you must find out where the problem stems from. There are other ways to test circuitry, with an oscillascope and a schematic diagram that shows test points and the wave pattern that's suppose to be present.

RCA F27669 27"

The F27669 uses the CTC203 series chassis. The most common cause of that symptom is a shorted horizontal output transistor, caused by a cracked solder joint on a small coil connected to that transistor's base. When this happens, the main B+ supply is shorted to ground so the power supply squeels. Every once in a while I also see the horizontal output transistor shorted due to a shorted flyback (high voltage) transformer. A good tech will replace the horizontal output transistor, resolder the coil and drive transformer, test the flyback (replacing it if necessary) and your set will be back to perfect.

Horizontal output transistor keeps failing

The horizontal output transitor is always connected to the primary winding of the flyback transformer (via collector) and also to the horizontal deflection coil via an electrolytic capacitor. The most likely suspect for damaging the transistor is the fylback transformer. In some countries there are electronic stores that test flyback transformer by winding a few turns on the ferrite core and applying a test voltage. This test will only test the secondary. The primary winding is difficult to test for turn to turn short because the resistance is quite low and you do not know the 'good' resistance.

No hi voltage

using an ohmmeter' the B to C junction will test as a diode, but E to B junction will show low resistance, approximately 50 ohms in both directions. now, E to C ohmmeter test will test as a diode. the foregoing results indicate a good transistor. reading other than this indicate a bad H-output transistor. good luck!
