Yamaha rx-v2500 receiver how to hook up speakers

HI,

Follow these steps to connect a powered sub woofer to your receiver: You typically have two options when connecting a powered sub woofer. Input (1) on the rear of the sub woofer would be used when connecting the sub woofer to the receiver using speaker wires. You would then connect the main speakers to the opposite end, or output or the sub woofer to the main speakers. Option (2) would be using RCA line level output jacks, input (2) on the rear panel of the sub woofer directly to the single sub woofer output on the back of an AV receiver. blank.gif

How do i connect my subwoofer to my home theater

Easy. Your home theatre amp will have a sub or LFE output ( RCA plug ). You simply connect this output to the input ( usually the left side, or use a Y splitter and use left and right inputs, or the LFE input if your sub has it ). Then, you must turn the sub on in your recievers setup menu, and your sub should work.

How to connect a SB-WA310 Panasonic subwoofer to a different reciever

I want tyo do the same thing and use it for my computer or for my mothers computer as a subwoofer. I am an electronics engineer and have designed 2 mono class D aamps. I have degrees in electronics engineering and already have done this witha yamaha subwoofer surround system simular to this but it had a Svideo type looking plug to connecting it to the receiver. So I just traced the wires and solder traces and found the turn on wire to turn the yamaha sub module on. I just had one of these Panasonic SB-WA310 sub modules givin to me I thought I'd do the same when I got a chance. I own my own small business repairing car amps, I'm the cheapest in the USA and offer so many services no other car amp repair business offers. I do professionaly qulity work, have 17 years or more years experience, have'nt added up the years. Anyway I can be contacted at ampman37@gmail.com and I will post what you have to do what has to be done when I figure it out to get the SB-WA310 Sub Module on and used just for sub use and also use the rest of the channels, why waste them. I have the pinout of what each of the 25 wires do. So I think I know already how to turn this on just cause I understand the lingo of the pinout mames. I just have'nt had time to do it. Even though it would only take me a couple minutes to try it I'm so busy with repairs. When I get caught up I will get to it in about a week. Anybody who is still interested in getting this module running just for the sub and maybe the rest of the power for mids and highs E-mail me at the address above, I'm not one to post messages on these sites. Though, I get allot of amp repair business from people from this site. Still, I'm not one to go around posting. I will most likely will for this if many peopl are still wanting to know. Talk to ya in the future.

Hi, I have the Kenwood Subwoofer KS-201-HT, my question is how do I connect it to my receiver?

usually subs have outputs 4 ur monitors however if ur sub is active @ ur monitors are passive then you need 2 connect sub 2 ur tape loop with rca connections, usually you use the send signal from ur reciever which would norm connect to ur tape input , if the sub is passive then u connect direct to speaker output on amp then monitors to the sat connections on sub

No Sound on TV/SAT setting on Receiver.

Most TV has Audio Out RCA jack at rear and it gives same TV Sound as coming from its speakers.
Hook audio wire red white RCA pins at TV Out and plug these pins to TV/SAT input of receiver. Select TV/SAT input in receiver to get TV program sound coming out from TV.
Hope that info will help you.

No Sound from Jamo E6 Sub

More likely there is a bad solder connection or a bad connector contact inside the unit, could also be a blown or dried up electrolytic capacitor.

Check the line signal input plugs, if they are soldered directly to the board then check the solder around the pins - if it has circular cracks, you need to resolder the pins.

Also check any other components on the board for such cracks on the pins, including internal connectors, disconnect, clean the pins if necessary and reconnect them.

If any electrolytic capacitors have a bulged top, they are blown and need to be replaced.

It could as well be something else, but your description suggests either a fault at the input connectors or some trouble with the input signal level sensing circuitry (no signal to the sensing circuit may be caused by connectors, no response from the sensing circuit may be caused by bad capacitors or other faulty components in or around that section).

Hope you can find out what it is and fix it...

What is the best way to connect 4 speakers and a sub to a 4 channel amp.

I would connect the 4 speakers to channels 1-2 in stereo with high pass filter. Bridge the sub to channels 3-4.
A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer is helpful to you. best-way-connect-4-speakers-sub-4-zb4bomd1rt4qms0dqd12kkt2-3-0.jpg
