It is possible that a in line system fuse may have blown?
Also check if main power supply has been lost, normally there are two disconnects. The Main one at the main power circuit panel, that is normally a 50 amp 2pole breaker; and there is normally (by code) a 2nd auxiliary remote disconnect. Which are also 50 amp. But you could have a smaller amperage style???
I have seen many of these be a "Fusible" pull out style disconnect. You could have blown one of the fuses? Even if one blew, you will have a completely dead spa. Check this and see if you may have one?. Note these are a special type of fuse, they will be "Time Delayed or Slow Blow" system fuses. And they are about 1" in diameter and about 4" long. They can be either mounted on the pull out handle itself or inside the box pushed into their terminal clamps.
It could like one of these, click the links provided below...
Fusible AC Disconnect Switch 30 Amp
or this one, (Fusible and Non-fusible look alike)...
Non Fusible AC Disconnect Switch
The fuses behind the cover will look something like this...

My hot tub has been running perfectly until a few nights ago when the GFCI breaker tripped and now it wont reset

Either you have a ground fault or the GFCI is toasted. Turn off the power to the GFCI, open the box the GFCI is in and disconnect the output wires, close up the box, re-energize, and try to reset it again. This will tell you which problem you have.

I have a Neptune TL washer and I am experiencing

Hello bucknerkim,

Take a look at this post Clutch repair post and see if you can DIY… I will help you. Thank you for posting your model type.

The FAV6800AW/FAV9800AW Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.

Try the TDS check first’ from the Service Manual slightly modified;

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.

It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM. This done thru the lid.

a. Enter Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

b. Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.

c. Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

d. Push tub to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

e. Press Hand Wash.

f. Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

If you get these results your TDS sensor should be just fine.

You can pump out the excess Tub water with this process from the Service Manual;

I would go to page 16 of the SM lower right hand part of page, Board Output Test and turn on the drain pump in service mode to pump out the tub.

Enter Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

Pressing the Delicates key will lock the lid. Now press the Presoak key the drain pump will turn on. Turn off the drain pump with twith the off button or hit the Presoak key.

Washer keeps getting dc code, doesn't matter how big the load is. Have unplugged the machine and moved clothes around but it still keeps doing it.

Most of the time this is a clutch malfunction. If you feel you can DIY after reading this post we will try to help.

I always recommend folks to check the Tub Displacement Sensor its fairly easy to do thru the washer lid.

Some handy links the Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.

Machines is off balance and moves across room

Hi loriandfr553,

You are in the FAV6800AW forum. Is your machine model a FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW? If so I can help you DIY or give you enough info to control service cost. If your machine is the above type I feel you have lost Tub Displacement Sensor input to the control board I discuss this scenario at this post.

The Tub Displacement Sensor should signal the Control Board to terminate the spin cycle. Try the below test to check the TDS sensor for the FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW and post back your results. Disregard my post if your machine is not the above model Maytag TL.

Good luck Rich aka dh1200s.

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check. This test is done with the washer lid raised see page 19 for the details.

It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.

If you get these results your TDS sensor should be just fine and we need to look at other issues. Has your machine faled in spin cycle with dc or UC error codes in the past?

Have a dishwasher which is coming up with an F1 on both draws as soon as you turn the power onto it - any ideas on what to do?

Hi,

The major reason for error code F3 is due to some issues with the Tub Seals. Please perform the following troubleshooting to resolve the error.
Remove bottom drawer you will find water has leaked and the flood switch has been activated. Remove power to unit and dry up tray with towels and hair dryer. Check drain hose and fill valve for leaks. The most common problem I have found is the tub seals. With unit back together and running pull on drawer and see if it comes out. (It should not come out) The boards may be burnt by this point. The bottom tray in the back has a plastic cover over control board, remove cover and inspect board for damage.

Fault code C1

"C1" is known as an Instantaneous Current Limit Error. This will occur when the Motor Controller detects a current spike of 26 amps or greater at the motor windings. Overloading the washer, excessive water and/or excessive suds can cause this problem.
The manufacturer recommends the following:

- Wash smaller loads and use the correct detergent (HE only for Calypso machines). NOTE: Make sure the HE detergent is not double or triple concentrated as this will also cause suds problems.
- Check for objects under the nunate plate. This is the wash plate. Sometimes clothing can get stuck under the plate and cause the motor to bind up. To remove the nunate plate, follow these instructions:

1. UNPLUG THE WASHER.

2. Open the washer top. Look along the front seam of the washer where the top meets the front. There are a couple of retaining clips (about 2" in from each side) that you will need to push in on with a putty knife while gently lifting up on the top to get the top to release. Carefully open the top and lay it back against the wall in a resting position. Make sure you support the lid so it doesn't fall open when you tilt the top back.

3. Remove the tub ring. This is the plastic donut shaped ring that sits on top of the wash tub. There will be a tab on either side of the outer tub near the back that you can use a screwdriver to release the tub ring. The ring is filled with fluid and is used to balance the tub. So, if you hear liquid sloshing around, this is normal.

4. Remove the center cone from the wash plate. Use a flat blade screwdriver and insert it into any of the slots available along the sides. Gently pry until it pops off. I say "gently", but you may have to use a little muscle to get it to come off. Sometimes they stick. Once the center cone is removed there will be a series of nuts under it.

5. Remove the nuts and the wash plate should lift out. Be careful not to damage the gasket under it. Clothing can get tangled in the leveler under the wash plate. This leveler should have a key on it. The wash plate will only go back in with this key mating to a slot on it. So, remember how you took it off. In addition, when putting the wash plate back on, make sure you tighten the nuts in a cross pattern and evenly tighten them as you go. This will ensure the gasket seats properly. Don't forget to put the tub ring back in.

- Check for objects stuck between the inner wash tub and the outer basket. NOTE: It is best to do this with the nunate plate removed. Use a flashlight to peer through the holes in the wash basket to see if anything is catching on the tub.
- Check the Motor Controller. You will need to determine if there is power getting the the board first and that the fuse on the board is good. If any components on the board are defective, the board has to be replaced. If you have power to the board and the fuse checks good, check for continuity between the Machine Controller and Motor Controller.

There is a tech sheet inside your washer along the interior cabinet (usually the front panel) that explains all these procedures to you. I would advise you to research the tech sheet for exact locations of the pin outs for the circuit boards. Its easier for you to view it rather than me explain it. If you need further assistance, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Frgidaire Tumble action washer

because of the grinding noise your talking about it sounds like the motor bearings are bad which would require motor replacement. but, thats normally not what cause the " not completly turning problem" your having. general thats cause be the motor speed control not sending the proper power to the motor. remove the belt and turn the motor by itself to see if the noise is really come from the motor and not the back of the tub. if it is the motor, replace the motor. if it coming from the back of the tub the replace the motor speed control. the noise coming from the back of the tub would just be the ball bearings and they do make some noise on this model but you wont hear it when the washer is running
