Check and make sure the black power cable is securely plugged in on both ends. Make sure the video cable is also screwed in tight on both ends. If your monitor still does not work call the manafacture to see if there is a recall on that monitor if there is not you last option is to purchase a new monitor.

Are you getting any video on the screen? I would make sure the power cord in the back of the monitor is securely seated. Make sure the video cable from the monitor to your desktop is screwed in tight as well.
