Question about Electrolux Dishwashers

1 Answer

Makes a loud noise but when we take the top rack out it runs quietly.

When we remove top rack the noise goes away but as soon as we put it back in the noise starts again. It sounds like it's motor but can't be because it is normal when rack is out

Hello Karen, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Electrolux dishwasher is making a noise when the top rack has been installed. It could be a possible issue with the rack or glides within your dishwasher. I would recommend reviewing your glide and rack to make sure there is no visible damage. You may need to replace those components. I hope this information is helpful to you. -OOS

MY 6L V8 makes a loud knocking noise only when it first starts for only about 30 seconds then you never hear any more knocking for the rest of the day Is this a valve problem?

In some oil filters they have anti drain back valves in them, what keeps oil in the filter when sitting for a long time. this helps get oil to ur top end quicker. If not i takes longer to get oil to ur rocker arms so you might hear a knocking or ticking for a while. Try when u do ur next oil change to get a filter it a anti drain back valve and that should help make that noise go away quicker.

Weird, try making sure it is level, and make sure your vent pipe aint too long. Tip the cabinet back while running if the noise goes away the damn metal vent pipe is too dang long.

Loud air intake engine noise on startup

I would guess it is the electronic fan clutch. It will cause the fan to run too fast (very loud) and the light will come on sometimes.

Clicking noise

continuous clicking could be a few gear-related issues:

-if the pinion gear is slipping against the rack for the disc-load mechanism, you can try to re-align the rack (hopefully it was just forced out of place and can be clicked back). i would suspect this if the noise is relatively quiet and very fast.

-if something is jamming the load mechanism, like the rack is stuck, the pinion gear may be clicking over the teeth of the rack. i would suspect this if the noise is loud and slower.

If the wii is under warrenty i suggest you take it in!!! if not have a repair centre fix it. it will need a new drive.

LG refrigerator makes loud noise and then stops running.

You are seriously frozen up. Defrost the unit completely. Then, be aware that 'window shopping', leaving uncovered liquids in the box and poor door sealing (too heavy a load on the door ... too much on shelves) can cause condensation. Defrost with hot air or leave unplugged and open for about 2 days. You'll see alot of water come out.
