Question about Dell Latitude E6420 Notebook
My buddy does computer repairs and had a big stack of old laptops, when i called dell i couldnt identify the registered owner cuz it was from some company thats building burnt down the closed. they left me on hold for like two hours just to shoot me down, any help would be appreciated cuz i cant afford 45 bucks to pay for the password
Hi Allan Romphf,
Dell can help only if the ownership is confirmed for security reasons. Please try finding the ownership information and then call the technical support for Dell on 18006249896 (U.S only). They can help you further.
Note: Please refrain from putting the system service tag in a public forum.
Thanks and Regards.

We won't be able to do that-- you're looking at probably replacing the BIOS in the laptop to clear this out. Check for jumpers too.
Hope this helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
