Corsair 550VX (550watts and in my opinion the best PSU in it's class) Or Corsair 450VX which is a 450 watt version and probably more than you need but not over-kill either. I have used a 450VX in my own system on a Quad Core 125 watt AMD Phenom Processor, 3 hard drives, 8 USB Ports, 5 case fans, 2 DVD burners, etc.. without any problems for years. They are guaranteed for five years from the manufacturer.
Type "YourModelNo" into the "Model #:" window, then click search.
Click the YourModelNo - Remington Electric Chain Saw "View Model" link.
Click “View Owners Manual” or "View Illustrated Parts Breakdown" link.
Clicked on the "IPB" link and found Item 3 - Armature, pn 100933 $60.34 BackOrdered with no delivery date. Item 9 - Field, pn 098042-01 $48.76 Item 4 - Bearing, pn 075676 $5.60 Item 10 - Gear, pn 059606 $7.25 Item 11 - Internal Gear, pn 107713-01 NoLongerAvailable. I would inspect Item 11, I think you will find it failed and is not allowing the motor to rotate. It is also likely the brushes (part of Item 9) have worn away. Least likely is Item 3 is defective. Your unit is either not repairable or will cost in excess of $50 to repair. You can try an Internet search for any needed parts not available at RemingtonPower, we can do no more.
RemingtonPower has stopped all production. Many replacement parts are no longer available. If you can repair it today the next time parts are needed e-Bay may be the only source. I recommend you apply the money toward replacement with a name brand unit you expect to be in business for 10 years or more.
Please do not punish me because you are unhappy with RemingtonPower. I provided a very good answer; although probably not what you wanted to hear. HTH Lou
